Asking for a $10 million dollar weight penalty is also beyond the standard commision rules. Why didn't Pacquiao go to the commission instead of making a direct request in the contract? He was tryong to change the rules also right? He felt like he was bigger than the sport too right?
LOL Are you trying to compare the scale to a outside party coming in to give out drug test?Damn dude can you say reaching.I'm not Pac I would fight anybody for 40mill.But if I was Pac(Meaning I'm paid and can get paid no matter who I fight)I would say go F#*k your self to Floyd and his demands.

This seems to be what Team Pacquiao was banking on in the 1st place, in my opinion. There was zero chance of Mayweather coming in above 147lb, had he signed the contract otherwise. The drug testing resquest was in the contract from the beginning, and wasn't made an issue until AFTER Mayweather agreed to all of Pacquiao's requests. Yet, most people seem told on to the belief that It was Mayweather he doesn't want the fight.

Race plays a part, but I think that a lot of people in general are just insecure, and harbor hate for people they believe to be arrogant. America didn't really "love" Ali until he was clearly debilitated.

We saw pac and clottey kiss each other's asses and how did that work? Come on man people just look for reasons to hate Mayweather. They put liquor stores on every corner in black neighborhoods for a reason. They don't want us to be ****. And to see floyd succeed and talk **** pisses the man off. Which is why he doesn't get voted fighter of the decade or other awards. It damn sure ain't because manny is a better fighter than floyd that's just ******. In my experience it's always common for another race to say that racisim is over. Or blacks are playing the race card. It's easy to say something doesn't exist if you've never lived through it.

Very true. I doubt we would be talking about him on this level if he wasn't so out spoken. ALi saying he was the greatest made the world watch and listen. Like I said he can be a bit more tactful but I do feel where he's coming from.
Can't knock a man's style if you if it's working for him.

I agree though, he should curve his mouth even though I feel where he's coming from but that should never take away from his accomplishments in the ring.
Listen the guy is skilled out the ass I'm not taking anything away from the skill set.I said it before what make's May great is I believe he would have been great in any era.But in his own era he did not fight the fights that would have got him there.Marga's Cotto and(Younger) Shane was right there after he beat Hatton and so was his legacy. He messed him self up for saying he had nothing left to prove and retiring. Those were to be his defining fights and he did not fight umm.Now this is going to hurt me to say being that Mosley is my favorite fighter but he would most likely have won all three of those fights. But he would have fought umm in the time frame in which he should have heighten his legacy and adding prime fighters except for Shane to his resume.

No, I'm comparing the facts that both Mayweather and Pacquiao are making requests that are outside the standard commission rules which makes the excuse that Pacquiao is justified in refusing Mayweather's request because he's "changing the rules" in a word, garbage. I would also note the fact that Pacquiao stipulated that Cotto come in at a catch weight for his own title, which is obviouisly outside of the standard commission rules. Nevermind the excuses, can you say hypocrite?

You're not Pacquiao, but you're a Pacquiao apologist. You're apologizing and excusing Pacquiao ducking the fight based on BS. This is something that you need to be honest with yourself about.

I remember it with Tyson, I saw it with Michael Jackson, I see it with ***** and I'm seeing it with Floyd. It's real and race is the culprit.

And why are you more angry than Mosley himself? does that make sense? you said sugar should have a picture with him on mayweather's lap maybe you should have one on shane's lap
im not the one making 40 million on 24/7 representing the sport we both love

that is floyd, so he can deal with the judgement and negativity.

has nothing to do with hipocracy, has to do with floyd putting himself out there knowing he will be condemned for it

im not calling names to call names, floyds family has a history of drugs, domestic violence and prison

                it is what it is.

if he was respectful you think those things would come up?

But basically Floyd is a young rich black man and that's talks a lot. That is a no no in this society. You can be black and successful but at the same time you have to bow down. And that is something floyd does not do. He keeps it real. And they can't handle that. But no matter what they say as long as floyd is true to himself and his people that's the only legacy that matters to me.
Hey keep it real I don't give two ****'s what you say about Mosley Hoya Hatton or anybody else. What ****'s Mayweather up is the lack of respect he shows to the Sport of Boxing and too those who came before him.Do you think in anyway that May goes threw the same racism that Ali went threw or even worse Jack Johnson? These man pave the way my brother and for Mayweather to say aloud with his ranting is a disrespectful act and as a black man you should feel a lil ashame that he is taking like that on T.V.
