Come on Rome people say Oscar was shot then the same people turn around and say damn Manny beat Oscar. Cotto was a natural 140 and Floyd was coming up from 135 that was a perfect time. I aint tryna hear that Shane sidestepped when the boss wanted to fight him the point is Floyd called his ass out and he said go pick on Margarito, I got a toothache, lol. The fact is he called his ass out and he said no. This is a grown man's business so now look what happened. Shane just prolonged the inevitable. :-)

I want to see him face Pacquaio first but Martinez ain't going no where. He ain't no where close to becoming 38 and after Pacquiao their ain't no one left to face but Martinez. Mayweather won't fight Paul Williams b/c he is 2 much of a mystery. Williams Height and Arm span can work for him or against him depending on which Williams shows up. Then again Mayweather could pot shot Williams 2 death and move around all night but later be critized for being boring but that would be impressive regardless of how he got the victory.

One thing for sure Martinez is going to have to fight some one in the interim on HBO to get him some more exposure or else the fight won't happen.

You're not going to win this argument, seems the term "racist" is a reflexive response usually uttered over and over by the same posters who make Roger Mayweather seem like a Rhodes Scholar, they will attach race to anything they can relate to and defend, even if it's bad behavior which really is a cop-out....end of story. I guess Mayweather is more relatable.

True Cotto was better @147 but the fact is Cotto was offered the fight and he turned down. It's also a fact that Arum was the culprit behind the Cotto and Cheato fights not happening.

Be honest with me Rome, if this was Pac asking Floyd for testing can you honestly tell me this would be looked at and handled the same way?
if it were floyd REFUSING to take the ost, he would be crucified and anybody that says different is deluded. floyd would be a criminal if he didnt accept the ost.

He gave Floyd problems especially early......if you actually watch the fight you will understand why he fought the way he did....Baldomir is one of the most awkward inside fighters of the last 20 years.....there is a reason floyd hired him repeatedly for sparring after he beat him......Baldomir was a difficult opponent for any welter......he's not elite...but was a very good 47 pounder........and he gets zero appreceiation here as a very solid 47 pounder simply because he lost to PBF which i find sad.......the man had a 9 year unbeaten run at 47 and beat Gatti and Judah at that weight......he deserves some respect.
ok, ok.... some respect then. ;P
