larry merchant stated, if the fight doesn't happen, the perception will be that mayweather is scared of, or "avoided" pacquiao......

then, merchant uttered in the next breath, that if the fight does get made, "MOST" ppl will favor mayweather....

so according to merchant, he'll have us believe that mayweather, for some reason "fears" a guy that "MOST" ppl expect him to beat.

Whether Mayweather wins or loses is irrelevant, Larry's larger point has to do with public demand for this fight to take place and you can best believe there is huge public demand for this fight to take place.

It could also be interpreted as although Floyd would be considered the favorite if he were to face Pac, he isnt confident himself that he can beat him.

Just because everyone feels fighter A should beat fighter B, doesnt mean fighter A is as confident as the odds makers.

I just find it weird that Floyd is going to these lengths to have Pac tested, yet he feels that Marquez beat him 2x, and had no problem facing Marquez without any OSDT.

If Pac is this supposed roid machine of a boxer who's walking through everyones punches, and taking everyone down, what the hell does that make Marquez who according to Floyd "beat Pac 2x"

The only reason I want to see this bludgeoning of pacquiao is to hear how much doodoo merchant is gonna have to swallow, what excuses you pacnerds come up with, see the pac fan suicide rate go up, and see how fast you pacnerds will go back to watching soccer and figure skating.

        • Whenever someone says the truth against floyd the fraud, *****s goes ballistic.

Come on knoblickers, even if larry says the truth, don't hold it against him as this guy can be considered as one of the pillars in the boxing world.

Those years he has been involved with the sport could only mean one thing, he knows which is a fallacy, who is the fraud and who are the gay people like the *****s here.

That being said, larry knows who is the biggest fraud in boxing today even if it's a fellow american, he just need to tell the truth, that's what the USA used to stand for and i'm glad there are still people like larry merchant who stands up and says it as he sees it even if it hurts like a meandering stroke that makes the neuron in your brain malfunction...just like the *****s grey matters, all logics twisted.

Must be why *****s are confused with their sexuality too...

Its the same thing as Khan and Malinaggi calling FLoyd out right now, so Floyd MUST be ducking them right?
Floyd became the bigger draw over the years and began to
call Floyd out for a big pay day. Should Floyd have rushed
to fight Shane, when Shane didn't view Floyd as a big enough
draw when he was coming up? Basically in your post, your
cosigning Shane for not fighting Floyd and coming down on
Floyd for not jumping to fight Shane when he made it to the
              top? BULL****.

Mayweather was not a "contender" when he wanted the fight with Mosley. Stop lying. And the business aspect works both way. Your double standards are obvious and they make you look uniformed..
