nah I understand it was hyped as well, but not to this extent. according to golden boy floyd vs shane was the most promoted fight in history. I take that with a grain of salt of course since it's coming from golden boy, but I would bet the bank the promotion for Shane/Floyd heavily outweighed the promotion of Pac-Cotto, as far as dollar signs go.

I don't have exact numbers but lets say a little less than 3M for Cotto, Clottey, and Hatton. About another 2 Million for Morales, MAB, and Marquez. Another Million against Oscar that's 6 Million + the Diaz fight Maybe 250K

This was the mist over hyped over advertised fight of all time. Before the fight many were predicting it will break PPV of dela hoya. 1.4 Mil? Are you kidding me? Pacman-cotto did close to that number and it wasn't near overhyped or advertised.

Fact is that Mayweather-Mosley is the 2nd highest grossing NON HW fight in the history of the sport......none of your gay ass threads can take that FACT away
