Also, manny pacquiao is very weak in the pocket and chico had some monster short hooks and uppercuts on the inside.

And 2007 Manny was very 1 dimensional and didn't have anywhere near as much ring generalship as he does now.

Anything could have happened though.. this is boxing. On any given night I think either one could have knocked out the other.. Still I give the edge to 2001 Chico.
Great post. That is the way I see it. I would give the edge to Corrales. But, Pac was more than capable of KO'ing Corrales. It would of been a FOTY type of fight.

Was the Chico fight against Mayweather the ONLY time you have seen Chico fight?

          Max Kellerman 2004 ESPN article:

"At 130, however, Joel Cassamayor, Acelino Freitas, Erik Morales and Diego Corrales all offer tantalizing match-ups for the new featherweight king. Based on his performance against Barrera, Pac-Man will likely be favored to beat not only Marquez, but at least one or two of the 130-pound tigers as well."

Chico was a beast at super feather, lots of power but slow. One handed 130lb Pacquiao KOs 130lb chinny Corrales late.

          Casamayor would beat Pac @130.

Jrosales your're wasting your time with Pacman777.

He started watching boxing in 2008 and had no idea who Floyd was as of May 2, 2009.

You don't think at 130 Corrales would of been just too big and too powerful for Barrera or Morales?

Again not P4P but at 130?

Morales **** was at 122 that is where he was a beast. Barrera at 126 was great. JMM was already passed his prime by the time he hit 130.

Corrales was a natural SFW and a huge SFW at that.

He is not as great as those 3 I agree but at 130 that is key 130 he would beat those 3. P4P those 3 beat him but at 130?

Did I say that? I said Corralles would win. Corralles was an animal alot of boxing scene members seem to forget that.

If you mean the Corralles that fought Mayweather, Pacquiao knocks him out. Chico struggled badly to make weight and had a lot of outside distractions. Floyds speed gave him a lotta trouble. The added power of Pac would finish him.
