Har har. I seem to have to repeat this every time around here - against Diaz, he was fresh off the Casamayor loss and was obviously (and perhaps understandably) gunshy. He elected to box Diaz, which isn't his normal style, and couldn't get his punches off. Diaz was hungrier that night, following the Campbell loss, and he had no trouble letting his hands go.Originally posted by Dirk Diggler UKTightened up since Casamayor? Katsidis was easily outboxed by Juan Diaz.....outboxed by Juan ****in Diaz!
It happens.
And I don't think it was an "easy" win. I'd say it was a battle in there, and 116-112 is as far as it should've gone.

You can clearly see in that gif he gets caught coming in and it throws his momentum backwards, he sticks his arms out to stablise himself and he's fine instantly, that isnt being rocked.
Khan got wobbly legs momentarily when he caught a jab. It wasnt a balance shot either cause he stood his ground ... for a short period. Taking the shot is waht caused his feet to flutter.Comment

Those weren't wobbly legs. The jab was just hard enough to make him re-establish his footing, nothing more.Comment

Mitchell didn't get rocked.
He's trying to get back so that punch doesn't land in the second gif. In neither was he rocked, look at the face, how loose his limbs are etc.
His game plan is to hit and not get hit.Comment

Regardless. If Kats hits him with a harder shot than a jab, he's in trouble. The smaller the ring, the better - nowhere to run! :box2:Comment
