Safe to say Pavliks run has ended?

He's officially turned down the Martinez rematch and move to 168lbs.

I don't know if I would favor him over anyone in the super 6, or Bute.

He still has a chance to do some damage at 168... but not very good.

He will continue to be a top echelon fighter at 168.

I think he has a decent chance at 168. I'd love to see Pavlik up against Froch and Kessler. But the division is so stacked and full of talent that he'll only be a shadow.

I can't see him beating AA, Dirrell, Ward or Bute. Froch maybe, Kessler would be a great fight.

He might be able to knock out Green... but Green would be a live underdog.

His main advantage and reason for success was his size advantage over his MW opponents.

If he doesn't have that I don't think he could be that effective as he is very 1D.

Pavlik could do something at 168. But more likely history will show that he was just overrated for a couple of years.

He could probably beat someone like Steiglitz for a strap, which would set him up for a big fight with Bute or one of the S6, but I dunno...things don't look too good for him in the future.

Though he's not done as a fighter, 168 is far more talented than 160, and he'd have a lot of problems with at least 6 of the guys there.

If he would of beat Martinez, then it would of been a different story. I like martinez though. He is a great fighter to watch.

Gotta see him fight a good 168 fighter before I can judge.

                  His reign is over.

                  Bute will be too quick.
Dirrell and Ward would change his life.
AA would KO him because of his power.

                  Kessler and Green, IDK.

Froch may be his only chance of winning a noteable fight but who knows because Froch's syle is more complicated than people think. I don't think he'd exchange with Pavlik.

When Pavlik fought Martinez, it was the first time I noticed how slow he was. I actually think Pavlik could of gave more in that fight though. He was fighting quite well in the middle of the fight. But those cuts truly ruined the end of the fight for him.
