Thread starter has a point. Mayweather doesn't believe pacquiao can possibly be that good, Period.

Manny unfortunately is succeeding in the PED era. He is not the solution to the commission's problems. But the commission can't protect his reputation either. I think his success is subject to questioning given the day and age we are in.

The way I look at it, Shane Mosley never earned the right to fight ODH. I'm no ODH fan, but he lost 2times to someone he shouldn't of had to fight because they cheated.

i wouldn't take any of those test after i was slandered and accused with ZERO evidence of taking any performance drugs or anything of the sort.

until someone provides evidence of me taking anything, i wouldnt take **** and would call out the people who were out slandering me.

i would call the guy who is demanding the tests after calling me a cheat with no evidence a coward who is hiding behind his own set of rules to avoid fighting me.

pacquiao has agreed to taking tests, just not floyds tests, and floyd from what i've privy to hasn't really negotiated, which is fine, it's his prerogative, but calling someone a cheat with no evidence is wrong.

this whole thing is a joke, if changing the sport was the motivation behind any of this, it should've started with the commissions, floyd shouldve been working on it and pressing the commissions while he was "retired" if it was about changing the sport.

why single out a fighter to start with and not start with boxing as a whole and start with the commissions.

start with the commissions if change is the mission. dont' call someone a cheat with no proof, then demand him take tests to prove it, thats like calling someone a tax cheat when you've never seen his financial papers and accounting numbers, then demand a IRS audit to prove it, all the while the IRS has never found any evidence of any cheating and isnt pursuing that person on their own.

what if someone calls floyd a child ******er with no evidence, then says he needs to take a polygraph, dna testing, and defend himself in court, all on speculation...........??? sounds like some **** **** by taking that route in getting change........

people cheat but not everyone cheats, if it was about change for the sport and for the better, there are and were about 100 different ways this could come about which all could make things have happened faster, smoother, and sooner, and without prejudice.

this is just some day time soap opera drama fiasco that is clouding up the waters. it most certainly not a professional way to go about and get change, and certainly not respectful on a personal level...........

are you saying that if duran, hearns, leonard or other multiple weight champions in the past fought in this era their reputations are automatically in question? by the way the commission has no responsibility to protect the rep of any fighter.

              Easy Young Larry Merchant!

I posted the fact that some of the greatest fighters in history have moved up and because they are fighting at a higher weight their ko% has dropped and they have lost some speed.

Since we are in an era where PED's are prevalent in all sports and Manny is winning in a way not ever seen in boxing history, it is reasonable to wonder how he is accomplishing it. It is legitimate to have random OST. Also, just because manny may be "a nice guy" is inadequate. Shane is classy, a nice guy, but he also cheated.

There are valid reasons why floyds camp want testing. And No he isn't trying to clean up the sport! Its just that the valid reasons aren't discussed much.

that's another irony right there...most floyd fans are saying that all pac did was beat either old or washed up fighters at higher weights but for you it's totally different. you make it sound like pac's recent success is close to impossible. but kidding aside i'm too was a bit surprised at pac's sucess at 140 and 147 but i will not consider it like it wasn't done before. have you seen how a past prime duran decked and beat a much bigger and stronger iran barkley who just ko'd hearns? or how leonard beat a very powerful and much bigger hagler after coming out of long layoff?

Part of the commish rule is also to be fined if u come in over weight. And the reason Floyd is cleaning his fights (I don't believe he's cleaning the sport, just his fights) is its easy to cheat the commish test. We have all seen this ****e in Mannys performance, everyone has to admit that.

And Manny is very easy work for Floyd, he's been a Pac fan. He's been watching and following Pac as a fan. Now its time to get it in and Floyd knows what's up, we all do.
Manny takes the test, he bocomes the guy we have always seen. Prior to the Diaz fight, before Alex and his secret special blend.

                      Btw:
Why hasn't Alex put that blend on the market yet? He'd be a billionair by now (if its all natual like he claims)
