i dont wanna see a 3rd fight, Id Rather see a Jones Hopkins 2, it would mean more for jones, any true boxing fan knows that Jones woulda killed Tarver or Johnson 3 years ago, but Jones is the last person to defeat Hopkins which was 11 years ago or so, if Hopkins can get past Taylor this fight would mean more to Jones cuz if Jones can beat him again he get looked at as the only person who could beat the great Hopkins and I think that would be great motivation for him,if he beat Tarver or JOhnson ooh wow he beat them it means nothing really except he beat them after they beat him, which is good cuz hell avenge his loss but i dont think it would do more for his legacy than Hopkins, a win over Hopkins is much more signifigant to JOnes' legacy IMO.Comment

The reality is that Jones Jr fought with a class jaw and utilize his speed and movement through the years.Comment

I completely disagree.
I don't see any point in Jones fighting a middleweight after he's come down from Heavyweight. If he wins, its because of the size and age difference. If he loses, it looks bad that his 3rd consecutive loss comes at the hands of a middleweight.
Hopkins (if he beats Taylor) will be fighting a guy comming off back to back KO losses.
I don't care for that fight at all.
If Hopkins wants to fight a Lt Heavy he should look to Tarver.Comment

Hopkins is taller than JOnes, only advantage jones would have is that hes been fighting bigger guys that dont mean hes gonna be bigger...and i think if they fight it might be at 168..maybe 175Originally posted by Bozo_no_noI completely disagree.

just like the guy in ur avtar??? Wasnt he KOed 2 times by singe shots and once in the 2nd Round....I guess thats not glass thoughOriginally posted by Brz_PugilistThe reality is that Jones Jr fought with a class jaw and utilize his speed and movement through the years.Comment

The style Roy Jones fought Ruiz with would be perfect for Tarver. In that fight occording to compubox he threw the most jabs hes ever thrown. He kept Ruiz away and used speed and then ****** in counters. That would work nicely againest Tarver, he could beat Tarver but it would sure be a taskComment

Yeah, especially like he went toe to toe with Mercer, absorbed punishment from Holyfield, Took flush shots from Tua, Stood toe to toe with Grant and demolished him, Stood toe to toe with Vitali Klitschko.....Originally posted by Bad Intentionsjust like the guy in ur avtar???
