Amir is a world champion because he beat a world champion. Ortiz and Maidana arent world champions because they havent beaten world champions. Still, Amirs resume at 22 is better then Bradleys, Maidanas, Ortizs, Malignaggis, Hattons, Witters, Petersons and Urangos resume when they were 22. Only one that might have a better resume is Devon but after Amir beats Malignaggi he will be atleast on par with Devon.

lol what? Well definitely Ortiz and Maidana, but not Bradley. Age and career phases are two totally different things. Khan turned pro slightly less than a year after Bradley. He didn't do much until 2008 & 2009, which is when he fought Barerra, Kotelnik and Salita. How does that compare to Witter, Cherry, Holt, Campbell, Peterson and soon to be Ortiz (once he KOs Campbell, he will become Bradley's mandatory)?

Hopefully Maidana. I wouldn't be surprised if he fought the Ortiz-Campbell winner, though.

Even you must be getting disillusioned with the cherry picking. Khan is a joke.

I agree age and phase are two different things. Amir at age of 22 >>> Bradley at age of 22.

Bradleys first meaningful win was against Witter in his 21st fight. Amirs first meaningful win was either MAb in his 21st fight or Kotelnik in his 22nd fight. Pretty close if you ask me.

Why are you neglecting the part where I said that at the age of 22 Amirs resume is better then the likes of Bradley, Maidana, Ortiz, Malignaggi, Hatton, Urango and Peterson when they were 22?

And if you find Khan a joke stop searching the forum for his threads.

                    • Junior Witter said that Kotelnik is a very good operator and much better then people think. He picked Kotelnik to beat Khan.
                    • Enzo Calzaghe said back in 2008 that Kotelnik was the best guy in the division.
                    • Kotelnik beat Maidana.

wazaa, I have watched kotelnik's fights with my eyes. I don't need those guys opinions. Since when have you taken Enzo Calaghe's opinion seriously ? Didn't he recently say Khan was not up to much? Why should you be happy with his opinion of Kotelnik and not Khan? The bottom line is Khan's record is not impressive and is a padded record of a cherry picker. Until he steps up to at least Maidana level opposition he has to be seen as a show pony. It is up to Khan to change my view by fighting real fighters instead of talking a load of ****e and fighting soft touches. But on the evidence so far he is a joke.
