This is what I've been saying. From the time he was on the ground the doctors were telling him not to move. He did not quit, the fight was stopped.

I actually agree. It should be changed to a NC and they should have a rematch. Williams will still probably win, but it was shaping up to be a pretty good fight.

I dont like Kermit ways, he had the power to put Williams on his place but decided to play ******. Also, I am pretty sure he was ahead on the scorecards, he even landed more total punches and had the best landing percentage rate but I think the judges read thru his bull**** too.

Cintron should have made more of an effort to convince the doctors he was okay and that he could continue. He was just laying on the ground and it looked bad. I think he felt that he had the fight won at that point, but the judges ended up having Williams winning after 4 rounds.

Clearly it's not much of a win for Williams. Cintron should move on, he's still a good fighter even if he doesn't necessarily have the mentality of a fighter.

hey cintron, you played yourself, ahole!!!

you thought you were going to get a no-contest so you could get another payday!!!

i hope you standby your little threat of "being done with boxing" if they don't reverse the outcome!!!!

obviously cintron didn't know what the rules were, he started to taste PWILL'S punches and decided he'd rather JUMP out of the ring that getting his azz pummeled all night!!!!

This is exactly why this fool never gets the love from Puerto Ricans, they dont support a sucker like CINTRON, we saw how much love they had for TITO, and then fell in love with COTTO, two true WARRIORS!!!

GOODBYE CINTRON, YOU ARE A DISGRACE!!!! NOW RIDE ON OFF INTO THE SUNSET SUCKER!!!!!

I thought Paul Williams was very tight early on and showed Cintron a bit too much fear and respect. However, as he appeared to become more relaxed and comfortable in there by releasing his hands.

It seemed that Cintron had instantly gone into panic mode and suffered an anxiety attack by leaping or diving straight out of the ring to avoid the punisher. I think that the pressure was slowly beginning to become a bit too great for him and he just simply chose to pack it in.

i seriously dont get how anyone can defend cintron here. he claims he was winded. WINDED for ****s sake! has anyone ever been winded before? you dont lie on the floor for five minutes like you've broken your neck. seriously guys, you are defending the indefensible here. he was WINDED so he allowed himself to be stretchered off in a neck cast???? are u kidding me? u guys seriously believe that he wasnt milking it for all it was worth?

before it was announced that he wasnt actually injured i can understand u all defending him, benefit of the doubt and all of that... BUT he was WINDED! that ladies and gents is pathetic.

that is not to even mention the fact that the "fall" wasnt even a hard one. have any of you cintron defenders ever played a contact sport like rugby or football (american that is!)? you take hits wayyyyy harder than he took there and dont get winded. getting winded only happen in big impact situations. that "fall" was never a big impact fall. NEVER!

you're all letting personal bias blind you from the truth; cintron milked it for all it was worth.

and people who are saying that cintron has never quit... are u mad? he CLEARLY QUIT against magarito in their first fight. come on folks, just stop kidding yourselves, it's unhealthy for the mind...

Not one time did he talk REMATCH! Not one time did he try to move while he was down. IMO, he thought he put enough rds away to escape with the W. I thought he did too. I saw him winning the 1st 3. But, karma is a bytch. U wanted out, so u got out. Now stfu and go do mma.

Everyone saw the pressure cranking up in the fight in the 4th. We all know what happened last nite.
