I don't think Tarver has the frame for heavyweight. He does have the height, so you never know. I highly doubt he will move up. A rematch with Roy Jones Jr. will bring him plenty of money.

Tarver used good strategy in this fight. He would flurry for about 4 to 5 punches just to open up Johnson for a big shot. Doing that allowed him to effectively shut Johnson's offense down for most of the bout as well. I had Tarver winning 116-112.

I had the same score, johnson took the 11th round, Tarver gave him the others, so he could rest, reminds me of Toney, he does that alot

Taking off rounds is what hurts Tarver in the scoring. I had Johnson winning rounds 5,8,9 and 11.

I am a huge fan of the sport. I have seen alot of fighters, I still think he is very talented, he has beat some pretty tough fighters, revenged all of his losses, 3 in witch he should have won the 1st time. If you can't see his skills, than maybe you should watch more boxing

                      He threw some hard shots.

The majority of Tarvers punches were thown from just throwing out his arms without the foundation of twisting his frame and using his legs, and many were on Johnson's arms and gloves.

He threw many pitty patting flurries, and they were effective because Johnson wasn't working enough. It won him the fight, but I don't think it was very impressive at all.
