Im not saying now one could beat him, im saying % are in his favour in potential match ups with Williams and Pac, for different reasons, as explained in the opening post, not that i would not like to see them happen, just my break down of how i think they would do and why i think he would hold advantages over each individual.

Bottom line is wins are ranked accordingly on a number of things, its not taking away from the victory if someone were to bring up that Floyd is bigger, its a fact, it wont be the only reason he wins, but it is a factor, same as Jones beating Nard when he did is a factor to take into consideration, to talk about possibly being a factor in the fight is not to take away credit.

To meet it doesn't matter whether Mayweather is bigger or not. Pacquiao holds a belt and fights top welterweights in championship fights. So you can't start picking and choosing which fightr's are too big for Pacquiao's benefit. If the fighter's are too big he shouldn't fight in the division.

For once i agree with u, size doesnt matter when were talking ATG caliber fighters....its all about skills, Pac should find a way to sneak up on Floyd's advantages with no excuses....just like when Duran beat SRL the 1st time

Manny Pacquaio is too small for Mayweather, not just in overall size but most significantly in reach!!, see i watched JMM fight Floyd and even though JMM was starting to show signs of sliding before the Mayweather fight and he did not seem to acclimatize to the weight very well, Mayweather made full use of the height advantage, i can see him doing the same thing to MP, of coarse Manny is a different animal but if Mayweather maintains and controls distance he would make it very hard for Pacquaio, particularly if he took centre ring and counter punched Manny from there the way Cotto did. I hear people say how Pac would overwhelm him but here is the thing, to me Pacquaio stops throwing when he starts getting countered consistently, Marquez did it to him in the second fight, when Pac was getting hit he seemed to stop and think about what he was going to do too much and it effected his output.


I see it like this at the moment, Paul Williams has the tools to but not the Boxing brain or defense to maximize his advantages, basically he is a good fighter but not on Mayweather's level, Pacquiao is more on Mayweather's level, albeit probably not as good, but Pacquiao is too small, see that makes me undecided on which fight i would rather see, meaning which fight i think would make a more competitive fight.

Pacquiao just beat super middleweight Joshua Clottey. Who is 5'9.
