    Is Kassim Ouma overrated?

Now I don't like making these kind of threads, but serious questions, people.

Is Kassim Ouma overrated? I personally only seen his fight with Kofi Jantuah, who from what I understand is heavy puncher, but I was looking at his record and I couldn't help but notice that he was stopped in the 1st round of one of his earlier fights by some bum who has a hideous record. I know it was a three knockdown rule and all what ended making the ref wave off the contest, but c'mon that guy who he was fighting ****** (record-wise, atleast.) Anyway, let me know your opinion and don't fill your post with b.s. talking about what he can bring to the sport, his workrate, etc..just give me the truth, is Kassim Ouma overrated? Can he really take over the Junior Middleweight division or possibly even the Middleweight division if he moves up?

I always thought the same thing

but that 1st round KO came cuz he got shot before the fight, like literally shot with a gun haha

It must have had a toll on him since he was able to make Jantuahs punches look like crap...

    I always underrated him

I dont think he is overrated.

He has beat some legitimate fighters in Jantuah, Candelo, Hernandez, Bojoroquez and is regarded as one of the most skilled fighters in boxing.

He's underrated to me. I think he will take over 154 and eventually take over 160 when he moves up. Winky and Hopkins are the only ones I see beating Kassim right now. Ouma beats Taylor in my opinion.

It would be interesting and I think Ouma would give Wright a hell of a fight but also see Wright winning a decision in the end.

he also beat vernon phillps. Ouma lost because hewa sclowning and looking at his girl in the stands then got rocked. His defense isnt so good but hes a volume puncher and mayorga vs ouma would be good for boxing

Wright vs Ouma would be a great fight, Id also like to maybe see Oscar vs Ouma if Oscar ever gets focused and seriously fights. The one fight in which I think either Ouma can easily unify two belts or be completley shocked in is with Travis Simms. I pretty much see Ouma winning and unifying two belts, but Simms does have some good skills. Id like to see that one aswell

I don't understand how someone can land almost 1000 punches and knock someone out...LoL!

Ouma would beat Mayorga easily in one-sided fashion.
