There is nothing here from overseas.
Which makes me wonder if this is accurate.

This ''Non American'' bull**** needs to stop. People are speaking as though Mayweather is marketed as an all American fighter which boosts his ppv sales.

Thanks for being part of our beta. Stay tuned for what comes next.

pacquiao-cotto had a live gate revenue of $8.84 million

pacquiao-hatton had a live gate revenueof $8.8 million

Numbers dont lie..and we know mosley is nowhere near the same draw as hatton or cotto, the ppv numbers for mayweather vs mosley will prove this again...
If Mosley is nowhere near the same draw as Hatton, then why was Mayweather's gate revenue higher for Mosley than for Hatton?

Floyd is a more popular fighter now. Nearly three years removed from Hatton.

Floyd sold more w Marquez than with Hatton. There's no denying that hatton is a bigger draw than JMM.

You people seem to forget that Pacquiao's fight with Oscar was in the thickest time of the economic downturn. Had it not been because of that it would have outsold Floyd vs Oscar easily, even with an old weight drained Oscar. :wank:

That's an excellent question. I was surprised to see that , too.

I guess people came to see Joe. There was that whole "I will never lose to a white boy" angle. And it had a 24/7...right?

So basically the circumstances were different, and that's what made the numbers different.
