I don't see your point, JP, Mayweather can't go down in the pound for pound listings just for fighting a fighter who's not fully-established, or isn't an "A-Class" fighter..Fans like you, who just don't want to see the guy up there try to create all kind of reasons and excuses just so he won't be rated so high...This thread should be deleted..

Let's not bring up all the other pound for pound #1's who fought lower class opposition...Face it, man, not every fight a fighter fights is going to be a big fight.

Besides he just entered into the 140lb. division, let him atleast get a good feel of the division before going on to the best the division has to offer.

Up and coming boxers bring more veiwers and more enthusiasm to the sport than has beens and fighters that have already been defeated a number of times and already have shown the world their championship rounds. You know that Mayweather has more to show us than most.

I'm a true fan unlike you!Who has he beaten in the last 2yrs to be ranked so high on the top p4p List?

1.Sosa - Got KTFO by a true elite 140pounder in Cotto

            2.Ndou - Journeyman at best.

3.Corley - After Corley got exposed my PBFs best friend Judah.Possibly handpicked.

You would think he would have atleast fought one World Titlist in the last 2yrs but only has fought 3times against C-Level opposition.Right now,I have Hopkin,Wright,Pacman,Tszyu,Spinks above him.I have Tszyu above him because despite having a long 2yr layoff due to injury,he cameback right off the bat and fought and Kayoed a top notch 140pounder with no tuneups.Mayweather on the other hand has no excuse for being inactive for the past 2yrs and look who he's facing right off the bat, another C-Level no-namer.PATHETIC! Question for Mayweather is,what have you done for the Boxing World Lately?Nada damn thang!Thats what.

How bout you name Name 3 legit pound for pounders Mayweather has beat his entire career,LMAO!

Lets talk about the last 2yrs for sec because a true fan doesn't need Boxrec.com to find the 3 p4p fighters Mayweather has beaten in his entire career like you do.

Pacman beat Barrera and had a hard-fought DRAW with Marquez.

                Wright beat Mosely twice.

Spinks beat Mayorga and Zab Judah!

Mayweather beat Ndou,Sosa,Corley YAWN! My point exactly

Hopkins is #1 P4P. I would give Tszyu the # 2 slot just because like Hopkins he's controlled his division.

Mayweather has really not impressed me, only in his fight with Corrales who was wet around the ears. I really wanted to see Mayweather face Casamoyer and Popo. But he never did...then he fought Castillo and got a close decision win, many would argue Castillo won that fight. Then again he beat Castillo but didnt dominate. I think when you look at P4P best, you look for dominating performances.

Mayweather has cleaned out every divison he's been in and has continually gone after and fought the best. I say Mayweather is no less then #2 with Hopkins of course ranked #1.
