It was a good win, Hernandez quit in his corner just as did previously when Oscar outboxed him before that.

BTW, did you guys know that Bob Arum and Top Rank was seriously considering in having Oscar fight Genaro Hernandez in his pro debut for the WBA SFW title?

How crazy would that have been?

show some love to hatton man

Floyds top 10 wins in my opinion are:

          1. diego corrales (#1 at 130 pounds, #5 p4p, favourite to beat floyd)

          2. jose luis castillo (#1 at 135 pounds)

          3. genaro hernandez (#1 at 130 pounds, undefeated at 130 pounds, long streak of title defenses at 130 pounds)

          4. shane mosley (#1 at 147 pounds, #3 p4p)

          5. ricky hatton (undefeated, #8 p4p)

          6. oscar de la hoya (#2 at 154 pounds but game/not weight drained and a very good name)

          7. zab judah (#3 at 147 because he lost to baldomir, but judah was more game and competitive, fought well until floyd figured him out, former undisputed welterweight champion)

          8. carlos baldomir (like it or not linear champ at welterweight..the man at 147.. with wins over clottey, judah, gatti)

          9. juan manuel marquez (#2 p4p)

          10. emanuel augustus (gave mayweather a very tough fight and broke his nose)

out of the top 10 but other wins: angel manfredy, jesus chavez, arturo gatti, carlos hernandez.
dude DLH was not the 2nd best 154lb fighter in the world

for goodness sakes he just beat Mayorga after a stint at 160 how did that make him the 2nd best Jr Middle?

          also

Baldomir's win over Clottey was a DQ otherwise Clottey was beating Baldomir cleanly

JMM was #2 lb 4 lb but fighting two divisions above his last fight.

Impressive to me because Mayweather went in with only 18 pro fights and completely dominated a skilled veteran world champion. From what I remember, some people thought it was too soon. I remember Mayweather Sr responding, "Too soon?" We're not going fast enough!"

Nothing is wrong with it. His resume is actually quite good. people will try to pick it apart saying he fought ppl out of their weight classes or that they were past prime fighters, but you could pick apart anyone's resume with a hater mindset.

The only thing i'm a little upset about with Floyd's resume is he never fought a prime Kostya Tszyu. Thats a fight i wish would of happened.

I don't know/remember for sure but outside the Corrales fight I think the Chicanito one was the only other one he was the underdog.

                Is that right?

that was a typo he was rated #3 at 154 lbs by the ring magazine

                  http://boxrec.com/media/index.php/Th..._Ratings:_2007

a win is a win, clottey kept using his head despite warnings by the ref which cost him the fight i but i had clottey up by 2 points before the dq btw.

i am not dis*****g marquez was the smaller man, just stating he was ranked by ring as #2, i didnt rate him at #2.. but floyd would have beaten him at any weight, you disagree? he was smaller this is why he is at #9

TS, considering genaro was 32yrs old and had his own wars (if you even had watch his fights), had retired on his stool from oscar, and RETIRED after this fight. do you feel he was past prime in this last fight against floyd? how do you compare this win to pac's over hatton(31) or cotto(29) who you consistently call shot and past prime when pac got to them?
