Why did mainstream media give Floyd no credit and minimal coverage?

Even before the fight, the PTI guys were thrashing the event already, even called it a "MUST-MISS" TV. (The other dude sait it was a "MUST-TIVO" TV)

I think casual boxing observers just care about "the" Fight.

Soo.. To me thats hating.. He didnt say Mosley was the #1 WW and the best option after Pac.. Of course not.. Just bashed him

Im not saying praise Floyd, just give the man credit.
If it were Pac who dominated Shane, then he would have been showered with praise. And he would destroy Mayweather comments.. Come on people
when i'm working, i listen to the radio, and on all the sports talk shows, it was the same ****.

you have to realize, that most of these guys don't really "follow" boxing, and the are just parrots, repeating what they hear.....

i heard one host, say manny pacquiao was a bigger draw than floyd, and floyd would have to give in to manny's demands if he wants to fight him.

it is what it is, most of the hosts of these sports shows are casual fans, and you can tell by listening to some of the **** they say.....for instance jim rome said, "floyd has ducked the best fighters of this generation." like who???

rome went on to say, floyd can't call himself the greatest, but if he fights and beats manny pacquiao, he can.....
