nah man, thats real talk. I dont think its good for boxing. I would say the same even if it was Pac. These are the stars of the sport and this isnt the NBA or NFL where its going to do well regardless. I made a similar thread last week talking about some other **** thats a little similar. Read this thread. My **** is not just about Floyd. I think guys need to promote our sport better

On topic, I was amazed that Lampley could ever be the least biased person on a crew. I love him, he's great at making fights exciting, but he tends to nuthug a bit. But God damn, they didn't want to give Floyd credit for ****!

Steward I have no problem with. If Merchant's speaking, 90% of the time he's bashing Floyd. He's always been like that with Floyd though.

dude he was giving floyd his props, i think he doesnt see him as a very impressive fighter...but he doesnt knock his results...some people in boxing just dont see floyd as all that....paul williams' trainer just said floyd looks pretty ordinary.....its just the way floyd fights...

should both be doing a Floyd Mayweather fight. You either have to put Max in place of Merchant or Lennox in place of Steward but you cant have both of them. Its funny how some fans & writers try to say that Floyd is HBO's baby when really Merchant & Steward rip Floyd non stop. I cant even watch the Floyd-Mosley fight from HBO because its so negative from them. All they do in all of his fights is diss him & take credit away when they dont act like that when anyone else fights. It wouldnt bother me if I knew it was all hardcore fans & writers because we can from our own opinions but they have a huge effect on mainstream fans & media.

Yes there is a ton of mainstream boxing media. They think theyre not but if you hear them talk, they clearly dont know **** about the sport. The only 2 guys they even know is Floyd & Pac and all there info basically comes from what they hear from guys like Merchant & Steward. Then they repeat it. The **** is annoying. You dont have to sweat Floyd but atleast be fair. Max & Lennox wouldve given him his due. Even Lampley tried sometimes but was always cut down by the other 2. Then people get upset when Floyd says something bad about them.

Even if they dont like Floyd, they shouldve been talking about how special he is and how great a performance it was because the mainstream will listen to that and want to see more or really think that he is good and want to watch him. Instead, in every fight they make an excuse for why Floyd wins and acts like he's an overrated bum. Then that makes the fans think that and hurts the sport. That **** kills boxing

I agree. Steward is not as bad, but Merchant is horrible. I would like to see both replaced
