*** it, people are right you cant defend this ****, hes just an idiot outside the ring tbh always making ****** comments.

    But

what he really means and Ive heard it in other interviews, is that he wants to fight the best only when hes in his prime, thats one of roach's principles in matchmaking. Simple as that, coincedently that means pac and floyd would prob be past their prime when khan is ready to fight them.

Exactly. All the arguments in this thread about whether Oscar deserved to win various fights or whether various opponents were in their prime or not is completely irrelevant to the article this thread, is based on. The only thing that'is relevant is that DLH always fought the best possible opposition and Khan's claim that DLH waited for other fighters to decline before being willing to fight them is an insult to De La Hoya, to the intelligence of all boxing fans, and to anyone who gives a damn about the sport.

Respect, it's nice to see a Khan fan who doesn't defend the indefensible.

Hmm, Am I mistaken or did Oscar not fight a prime Tito Trinidad, Ike Quartey, Oba Carr, Shane Mosley, Hector Camacho, Pernell Whitaker, Genaro Hernandez, Fernando Vargas and Bernard Hopkins at 160?

Oscar fought the best. Stop talking out your ass Mr Khan

            I hope Malignaggi wins
Yeah, and he certainly caught that washed-up Floyd Mayweather and that burned out punch-drunk Manny Pacquiao at the right time too. What an absolute tool. I hope Paulie wins too.

I really do think this is gonna hurt his marketability by making comments like this. I know one thing. I'm not watching his fight live on Saturday night on HBO. I may catch it at my parents' house during Sunday dinner since they got more than one HBO channel. I'm not throwing my Saturday night away to watch this slime bag of a fighter.
