do you know how crazy you sound? if it is good to do the test right after the fight then it is good to do them several times before the fight. if a man has an edge what good is it to discover it after the fight? thats like putting on a condum after you've had sex, useless.

man, a good and honest post. This isn't the first time I see this ****** ass logic. Let's see a cop pulls someone over that's swerving or driving erratically. Under your backwards logic he shouldn't be tested for alcohol until after he gets where he's going or after he gets in a car accident. This way if he's in a car accident they can say well he was on alcohol so it doesn't count. A boxer of PACs abilities is already a loaded weapon if he is on ANYTHING enhancing it should be known. PBF is a **** and he's doing it for the wrong reasons like you said its to get the mental edge that doesn't change the fact that he's 100% right about implementing these tests in every fight. I've been knocked out before playing football and wrestling I cannot imagine the damage you receive from getting punched flush by a trained boxer the same size with the kind of ability to land with maximum damage these guys have. Any unfair advantage is a danger to the other fighter period. People act real freakin macho on these boards they should be allowed to take some of the punches these guys take and keep fighting.Comment

yo amay, i agree with this post 100% and would love to see floyd vs martinez. my only beef with p-will is, he will come in on fight night at approx 170lbs. thats just too much wt for floyd. i still think floyd wins for the same reasons you do but would not advise it.i agree, floyd is too fast and too sharp for pacman.
pacman is phenomenal, but his height and frame are a disadvantage.
floyd would batter him with timing when he comes in.
i also think floyd beats pwill with ease as well. pwill is a volume puncher, not power puncher, has very slow feet compared to floyd and handspeed as well.
the only test floyd would have had would have been a pre-margacheato Cotto.
that would have been a great fight. cotto had great handspeed, footwork, body punching and power to be very competitive with floyd.
however, margacheato and his concrete handwraps ruined cotto, shameful
everyone should protest margacheatos fights and NOT watch or support him, ever!
i think sergio martinez at 154 would be floyds biggest test as of today. sergio is fast, fluid with great hand and footspeed, fights in combinations and is a bit bigger.
i think the best fight that can be made at this time would be sergio vs. floyd..
that would be highly competitive.
anyone agree???Comment

whats the best way to check what each fighter is given? blood test. and stop with all this commission bs. pac agreed to the blood testing requested. he just couldnt agree on a cut off date. so pac is kind of full of bs by now playing the " if the commission says ill do" card. What if they just ask for the commission to change the rules regarding the testing? Pac said that he will abide to what the commission will say.
Or since it will be featured in HBO's 24/7, they should just put a camera all the time on Pac and check on what Ariza is giving him. Is that difficult?Comment

what's so hard about the drug test, everyone in the world of proper sports do it everytime, from Lance Armstrong to Man United players, they do it on a regular basis. It's a hassle, but definitely not game-changing, performance-affecting, procedure. Everyone in the world, apart from the guilty ones, is fine with the random test. Now Pac, if you''re not guilty, man up, face the music and scrap that ****** superstition about needles! My God!its simple. do the tests after the fight. if anyone tests positive
they lose their prize money. its simple
this is what pacquiaao said before. he has no problems with the test
but he doesnt want it to effect his training. its hard to prepare
when the USDA comes in randomly 10 times before the fight
in the most important fight against one of the best p4p fighters
in history.
there shouldnt be a problem
actually i dont think floyd even thinks pacquiao is on steroids
its all part of his mind games. he has the whole public
making pacquiao feel guilty without any evidence at all
mayweather is trying to win the first fight
hwich is what roach said he was trying to doComment

Conspiracy Theory!
If Floyd does not trust with the NSAC testing, then why should Pac trust the USADA?
They might take the random test the day before the fight night, then if Floyd wins, the result of the test would be negative BUT if Floyd will lost, they might conspire and make Pac's result positive of roids. Who knows...Comment

but an olympic boxer with no name basically has no choice but to take the test right??? you never heard any claims? so for a decade, you did a survey and asked all boxers trying to make weight whether USADA was a bit inconvenient???... all im saying is for an elite boxer to PAY for USADA testing and have to dehydrate to make weight & hydrate to give specimens is rather counterproductive isnt it???? as for pacquaio, if you read the rest of my post, you wouldve read that i SPECIFICALLY said it shouldnt be a problem for manny since he is trying to GAIN & MAINTAIN weight.I just can't buy that one bro..... for starters, Pac don't need to lose weight.
For the last decade THOUSANDS of USADA tests have been performed on athletes representing different sports, including boxing. I have never heard one single athlete claim that a blood test disadvantaged them in any way whatsoever.
Lance Armstrong was blood-tested 26 times during the Tour De France.
Let me put that in perspective.....
if Lance requested a 24-day cutoff, then the Tour De France would have taken 406 days
thats 1 year, 1 month, 11 days.
signed
Lance "pin-cushion" Armstrong
also, since when did lance armstrong have to make weight to ride his damn bike???? keep it boxing bro.
i see your point, but im just stating my observation.Comment
