I can't really answer these questions to be honest. I dont think he would have the same exact injuries Floyd had. Fighting that much takes a toll on your body. Robinson was just as human as the next man. He was injured and fought injured and fought through nagging injuries and pain because he was a tough dude. Floyds no different. He fights through pain as well. If Robinson made almost 60 Million dollars off of two fights Im willing to think he wouldve took sometime off. Floyd made more money in one foght then SRR made in his whole career.

The times are different. Robinson fought for money. Thats why he fought into his 40s he needed the cash and he still sadly enough died without a dime. If he had the opportunities to get the cash Floyd makes it wouldve been a whole different SRR.

So you are basically asking "Would Sugar Ray be a human being?" That made no damn sense.

Did Xylocaine exist in the 40's?

Floyd would probably retire due to hand injuries

I think Pretty Boy is a better nickname than Money.

                IMO.

He will never go down as the GOAT cause he doesn't have a classic match. His fights are pretty boring. Over 40 fights and still he does not have a fight that people will talk about 20 years from now.

What does that even mean? You have to go to war to be great? Did it ever occur to you that hes just that good?

The dude tried to go to war with Shane. Shane was scared to fight back and just ran.

I think you have great fights to be remembered as a great fighter in the eyes of many fight fans. I'm not saying it's right, but it's true. Obviously guys like Gatti and Ward, Callisto, Corrales - they aren't in Floyd's league but their fights will be remembered for decades.
Now, when you have a great fighter like Robinson, Leonard, Duran who are also all involved in great fights then that's what people take note of.
