Man i still dont get why people care so ***en much about the advertising part. All that matters is the final number because of how many people watched it and will grow the sport. To call it a failure is ***en ******.60x 1.2 mill then add all the other close circuit and theatre showings come on...either way you can't take away at how great floyd performed and floyd haters are hurting so they have to look at something bad when it comes to floyd

I don't think the numbers matter, I think its all the talk from Floyd/Golden Boy that highlights the numbers, if it wasn't for all the talk, the numbers wouldn't be a significance. Yeah dude, the fight itself was good, classless at times, but still good, just not great or historic like the hype suggested it to be. That's not Floyd's fault though, Floyd did what he was supposed to - Neutralize Mosley's attack and counter, I was just discouraged by Mosley's lack of stamina, which obviously played into his lack of effectiveness after the 2nd Round. Mayweather vs PWill next? What do you think?

Anything over 1.2 million for this fight is very good. People need to realize the economy is not good right now and many people don't feel comphy with shelling out 60+ dollars. Add to the fact that Shane has never been a true PPV attraction and it makes a bit more sense.

I bet we will see around 1.4-1.5 million buys for this fight still or close to it at least. It was hyped enough to make itself noticed. 1.5 Million would be fantastic. Even 1.2 million is good.


1.5 million buys = over 100,000,000 in revenue. More than enough money to make sure everyone gets paid well.

1.2 seems too low.... EVERYBODY I know saw the fight, even non boxing fans. It did at least 1.5-2 million. I wouldn't be surprised if it surpasses Mayweather-DLH
