After all the promotion for this fight, the press events, the superbowl, 24/7, after all this they can only make 1.2million buys???? Are you serious????.... anything less that 1.5million buys is a failure based on all the extra work that went into selling this fight, TRUTH.

Pac/cotto had 1.25 mil buys but it wasnt promoted as much as this fight was.....

1.2 is a suprise to me but im not shocked....people predicting 3 mil were out of thier minds because Floyd/DLH had 2.4 and DLH was the main draw in that fight....i would say in the DLH/Floyd fight DLH draw 1.4 mil buys and Floyd 1 mil buys....now in this fight mosley is an ok draw and i would say drew 300k for a total of 1.4 mil buys

what in the *** is wrong with 1.2 million buys? Floyd isn't the star some of you make him out to be and Shane never was what one would call a popular fighter.

Seriously I don't know where some of you thought it would do any more than this but in all honesty this is still a great number.

its a great number but the fact they were predicting 3-4 mil and it was the most promotoed fight makes it a diappointment....the fact the Mayweather kept saying "get your PPVs up" and hes the biggest draw, and then not to even beat the Pac/Cotto PPV count makes it flop......btw im a Pac fan but Floyd(and Pac) and the star of boxing

Yo man Pac-Cotto did not make over 2mill buys!! Boy don't know wtf you readin, they did 1.25 million and no more. Floyd-Mosley did just about that and I ain't surprised. I feel like both these fights have about the same amount interest from the public. Mayweather-Mosley no doubt was waaaaaaaaaay more promoted but theres an argument there that Cotto-Pac have a tough time with Englsih and it aint as much fun to watch them talk together. Anyway 1.2million buys is like $55 mill from PPV and then the live gate will be like $9mill so generated quite a bit of cash for Golden Boy and Mayweather promotions.

That's just Floyds handlers and his fans being overly optamistic. If anything this just proves that Floyd isn't this enormous superstar that everyone makes him out to be and they should be glad he pulled in these numbers with the help of a 24/7 and a name opponent.

Not when you consider that half the ppv money goes to the provider. Its early days, but 1.2 mil represents a massive failiure given the attempts to hype the fight. Dont forget that golden boy also went hell for leather to spoil the take for Pac-Clottey.

I would rather wait about a week or so before saying anything.
