Manny wants no testing, Floyd wants testing with no cutoffs, a compromise of somewhere in the middle is needed to soothe both fighters egos. Its gotten beyond the matter of the testing both fighters are acting like divas and are used to having whatever contractual demands they make met. They are both divas and think they are more important than they are neither wants to be seen as bending to the others will.
Dude come on...even the most hardcore ***** has to undestand this reasoning....

problem is, floyd is campaigning on the "cleaning up the sport" ****. he also made mosley take the tests.
realisticly, there's no way he can now just "drop" the demands. all bull**** aside, i still can't figure out why they refuse to take the tests....Comment

Absolutely 100 percent right. Even though I lean towards Floyd's argument just a bit at the end of the day they are both acting like women. Just make the fight you ****ing fools. For 40mil they could test me 24/7 and Id fight blindfolded. Also for 40mil I wouldnt care if my opponent was injecting rocket fuel and Id fight a gorilla between rounds. Neither one of them is 100% in the right on this. They both need to quit being divas and get in the damn ring.Comment

Didn't Boxingscene confirm that report was bull****?"I am willing to help the sport for the future of the sport. I do not want to see anyone cheat or cheat this sport.
For that reason I am willing to consider taking blood as close as 14 days prior to the fight, as long as my opponent does the same, and it is not a lot of blood, just enough to test.
I do not want anyone having an unfair advantage where someone may get hurt. I am willing to do my part to help this sport out."Comment

I honestly dont think its about the testing its about 2 fighters whose egos are out of control. Floyd fights ONLY for the money, right? but yet hes unwilling to face his biggest payday unless they agree to additional tests. Both fighters are used to getting what they want and when faced with an opponent with just as large of an ego as theirs they dont want to compromise they want it their way and it wont happen for either of them.Comment

I would lean more towards Floyd if I believed he honestly wanted an even playing field. When his comeback fight was against a shorter, slower, smaller, lighter, older Marquez who had been in more wars and had less reach it seems as if he wants the advantages not he wants the playing field level. Like I said its all about ego, the demands from both sides are just posturing. I doubt Floyd really believes Manny is on something just as I doubt Manny believes Floyd wouldn't make the 147 limit.Comment

yea....at this point, egos are definitely involved. neither guy wants to be seen as the one "giving in" to the other.I honestly dont think its about the testing its about 2 fighters whose egos are out of control. i also think it has gotten to a point where floyd has to stick to the demand. he keeps saying publicly (even on 24/7), "it's good for the sport, it's to clean up the sport." add to that, he made shane do the tests....there's really no way he can back out now.
if the fight is to be made, honestly manny is going to be the one to agree to some form of the testing. the cutoff date, both sides are gonna have to agree upon.Comment

Thats exactly what Im saying. Even if he wanted to srop the demands he wouldn't because it would make him look like a hypocrite. He backed himself into a corner by talking about it constantly and now hes forced to stick to his guns. Hopefully they can reach a compromise, but we'll have to see because ultimately Mannys reward for agreeing to the testing is an ass whipping. Not a lot of incentive there.yea....at this point, egos are definitely involved. neither guy wants to be seen as the one "giving in" to the other.
