So then why agree to the test with a 24 day cutoff?

I believe that would be called a compromise.

          it's called negotiation.

pacquiao bullied cotto into a catchweight of 145....

pacquiao also requested an outrageous demand of 10M per lb, if floyd came in over 147. it's the commissions job to fine/discipline fighters for coming in overweight, the other side can choose to continue on with the fight or not. they can't impose sacntions tho. add to that, mayweather has never missed weight for a WW bout, and that adds to the ridiculousness of the demand.

what i've realized, and what i'm shocked few other ppl seem to realize, or just don't want to admit, is that manny pacquiao and top rank are fine with dictating terms, but they don't like it when the roles are reversed.

so yea, i can certainly UNDERSTAND manny not wanting to be dictated to. who does like to be dictated to? at the same time, if you can give it, you should be able to take it....so, it doesn't make their position the right one.

Manny will do whatever Bob Arum tells him to do, and Bob wants a Margarito fight before he offers him up to Mayweather.

If the testing standards Floyd wants were made mandatory for this fight by the commission, Team Pac would find another way to back out.

A bunch of the peeps involved with Pacquiao are shook. They don't want to know Floyd because they know what's going to happen. If they let Manny in a ring with him, Mayweather is gonna bring their big-top tumbling down.

If Team Pac felt Floyd was engaging in mental warfare by requesting these tests, they could disarm him easily by accepting them without a care.

There is insincerity and disingenuity in their words and actions. They fear the boogerman . . .

and maybe they fear the tests, too, for some unknown reason.

For that reason I am willing to consider taking blood as close as 14 days prior to the fight, as long as my opponent does the same, and it is not a lot of blood, just enough to test.

I do not want anyone having an unfair advantage where someone may get hurt. I am willing to do my part to help this sport out."

Should floyd say that about the ten million fight penalty?
