Dude come on...even the most hardcore ***** has to undestand this reasoning....

"As Manny has stated many times, we are willing to fight anyone, anytime, anywhere in accordance with the athletic commission's rules and regulations in which ever state we fight in. We will not be bullied into or entertain any additional rules or regulations to be imposed by our opponent."

I mean how would you like it if I show up to your pad and start telling you....what to do....and how to do it???? honestly.....

As much as this statement is noble, and I tend to lean to the Pac side of the fence in all this......didnt he openly turn Mosley away a while back??

That's understandable but here's the flip side......you're going to get paid for $40 million (I think it's even more now due to demand) for 36 minutes or less worth of work. For that much money, they could randomly test my blood thrice a day. Floyd just says that he wants an even playing field. What's wrong with that? Floyd and Shane didn't have any problems with the testing procedure.

It has already been proven that it doesn't hinder training schedules. Wouldn't it be nice knowing that the fighter you're rooting for is completely clean? Keep in mind, this is America, you may be innocent until proven guilty but most people see a refusal of drug tests as a sign of cheating.

But then again, Manny didn't want to be Floyd's ***** just as Floyd didn't want to be Manny's.

Someone posted a very nice arugment earlier about Pac not caring about the money.

He stated that in his belief Pac thinks the following:

-It's not a life changing amount of money for me
-I've already made millions and my net worth in marketing alone is huge
-It's personal with Floyd now and I want to fight him to beat him, not because of the pay day.

It was quite a good argument as actually quite impossible to refute within reason.

the public is on floyds side..pacquiao is trying to make the tests look evil when in fact it's a fair game for both parties.

For 40mil they could test me 24/7 and Id fight blindfolded. Also for 40mil I wouldnt care if my opponent was injecting rocket fuel and Id fight a gorilla between rounds. Neither one of them is 100% in the right on this. They both need to quit being divas and get in the damn ring.

This was all good and great back during initial negotiations... but Mayweather has publicly stated to the world what Manny needs to do if HE wants to fight Mayweather. The ball's in his court now.

Ive heard just as many people say Floyd needs to observe the same rules everyone else follows as I have people saying Manny needs to man up and take the ****** test. The people on these boards whose main objective is defending their favorite fighter opinion doesnt mean anything.
