I cant access youtube here from work. Go check out the vid. Larry asks Shane about a possible fight with Floyd, and Shane clearly says that he's taking the rest of the year off to spend time with his family.

A few months later, Floyd is pressured into fighting Margarito, then turns everywhere else for a fight, including Shane Mosley. Mosley reiterated what he said regarding taking the rest of the year off, then Floyd and his followers accuse Mosley of ducking.

Lets face it Pacquiao should not have something to prove, but lifes unfair and sometimes we get dealt the wrong cards, and now he does have something to prove to the public, and that is if he is clean. If he is it should be a non issue.

Im a fan of pac i think he is a great fighter but i was dissapointed that he didnt willingly step up to the testing in the way that mosley did, so be it i know that mosley wanted the payday but still regardless i see no reason for him to stray away from this type of testing.

So like i said before you are not going to get an answer that will change your mind because you are set on your decision, there is no reason for Manny to have to take these tests, just like there is no reason for me to do much of anything but eat sleep and breathe. So, fine just let his career be tainted by such rumors and steroid talk, but why not flush that down the toilet by taking the test i just dont get it.

And your question has been answered a second time. So don't say it has'nt if it does'nt work for you i really don't care, like i said your mind is made, but to me i just doesnt make sense.

In sports, things that have to start somewhere,

start with the entire body of that sport,

      not just one person.

Why does Manny need to take these tests when Paul Williams didn't, even though he fought Saturday, Kermit Cintron didn't, even though he fought Saturday, and many other fighters have fought without taking blood tests.

Where in the rules of the commission does it say,

Rule 1656.004-11 Manny Pacquiao has to take blood tests because we need a cleaner sport?

Again, I'm not against drug testing for the sport as a whole.

Its a problem when its a crusade against one guy who has never, ever been linked to anything steroids related in his career.

So why does he have to test again?

Like is said a million times he doesnt have to, but should.

Do any of the fighters mentioned above have steroid rumors about them floating around that people want answered? NO

So as i will say again he doesnt have to but it would be nice if he stepped up, and cleared any rumors, and just made the fight happen on what we would 100% know is completely even for such a huge mega fight.

And that fight you mentioned were the fighters making even close to the ammount of money may and mosley were? Again No.

Why did Miguel Cotto have to weigh in at 145lbs when defending HIS 147lbs title? Why weren'tthe sanctioning bodies weight limits good enough that Team Pacquiao had to introduce their own?

Why did Marion Jones and any other athlete have to be tested for PEDs? There was no proof they had done anything- before they got caught. Another question. How on earth did Mayweather know that requesting random testing would make Pacquiao walk away from the fight. I mean, Pacquiao can ask for his own weight limits, he can demand that risible amounts of money be paid per pound over an agreed weight limit- on top of the sanctioning body's fines, and he counts on them being accepted. If Cotto told Manny to "do one" (which he was well within his rights to do), would people be accusing Manny of demanding weight stips to get out of the fight?

Would the same people asking these questions back Usain Bolt if he decided he didn't need to take random tests anymore because he's always been clean? I doubt it. The way I see it, there's much more to gain from taking the tests and whipping Mayweather's ass than not and poking your tongue out from a distance.

            You,

still haven't given any reasonable answer as to why he has to take any extra tests.
Nobody has said he has to....he doesn't have to do anything he doesn't want just like when Pac demanded Cotto come in at 145, Cotto didn't have to but if he really wanted the fight he would abide to it. He obviously wanted the fight and agreed with the terms.

Same thing here, if Pac really wants the fight he will agree to it. But the difference here is that what Mayweather is asking for is actually a good thing for the sport whereas Pac asking for Cotto to drain himself was for his own good.

Anyways, nobody said he has to take them, but if he has nothing to hide what's the problem?

                  On Pac,

"easy work, easy fight, probably easier than the Marquez fight".

Once talks begin about setting up a fight,

"you need to take this blood test so we can have an even playing field".

So your saying because he asked Pac for a blood test he's scared.

                    Interesting.

So when Manny ask for catchwieghts is he trying to even the playing field, or is he scared?
