As others have said, it wasn't a fixed fight. Mosley executed a successful game plan in the opening rounds, Mayweather switched his style, Mosley was unable to execute a second game plan effectively enough to beat Mayweather's new style.

floyd showed heart but there was nothing great about that victory because the real mosley never turned up. that was a shell of the real mosley. the real mosley would have went for it after the second round but he was gunshy unsure and mentally weak.
