Well put. If anything was close to fixed in Mayweathers career it was the first Castillo fight and thats well in the past. I don't get how people "boxing fans" w.e. you wanna call em can't comprehend or appreciate what Mayweather continues to do. And im not talking about winning. Im talking about his uncanny ability to make adjustments on the fly. His timing and accuracy is impeccable. Because of Floyds athletic talent people forget how intelligent he is in the ring. Probably the most intelligent fighter i have ever seen. He reads fighters and can anticipate there next move, he interrupts every fighter from establishing rhythm and counters beautifully. Every fighter hes faught in the last 5 years he as frustrated and discouraged them unlike they ever have been in their career. And to be honest besides De La Hoya in recent years he's embarrassed everyone of them. But i forgot they're always too old, too small, fight was fixed, or maybe the other fighter was drugged.

no way this fight was fixed. if any fight was it was the pac and clottey fight. joshua had manny on the ropes 6 different times in that fight and went defensive mode.how in the hell do you have somebody on the ropes and not throw a punch and sat there in defensive positions. thats fixed.

Slight typo on number of total punches for Shane in the post as opposed to the compubox report (it says 452 punches total thrown by Mosley not 252 as in the OP) interesting figures otherwise though

You can't include the Clottey fight in the comparison because Clottey was a covering up punching bag. The numbers get skewed too much with the Clottey fight. That being said, Floyd's numbers are still great. The problem with Floyd's efficiency is that by itself the problem, he is just darn efficient, to the point that he overwhelms his opponent so much that his fights end up looking boring, too lopsided. Floyd is just that good. Mosley was good up to the 2nd round. After that he fizzled out AND mayweather stepped up his game.
