the split is a fight killer, if they dont start with 50/50, as much as I want to see this fight it wont probably happen ...

Pac is not just a fighter of the decade but he will be higher in ATG rankings too.

Floyd has a bigger claim to majority of the purse but if Floyd presses that issue, I doubt the fight will happen.

If Manny offers a 14 day cutoff, then the fight is happening, simple as that. It's what Floyd compromised with from the gitgo, so I don't see why now he would not want a 14 day cutoff.

Where did this information come from? Links? (Manny offering a 14 day cutoff)

While speaking with Manny Pacquiao in his home in General Santos City Philippines. Manny Pacquiao made this Official Statement for his website http://mpboxing.com .

I AM WILLING TO TAKE BLOOD TESTS, JUST NOT THE DAY OF THE FIGHT.

I am willing to help the sport for the future of the sport. I do not want to see anyone cheat or cheat this sport. For that reason I am willing to consider taking blood as close as 14 days prior to the fight, as long as, my opponent does the same, and it is not a lot of blood, just enough to test.
I do not want anyone having an unfair advantage where someone may get hurt. I am willing to do my part to help this sport out.

When asked what did he think about the fight? Manny Pacquiao replied, "I have not seen the fight yet."

Manny Pacquiao is campaigning for Congressman during this time in his life, but we will keep you updated on further progress for his next upcoming fight.

Manny Pacquiao also stated, he is willing to take blood immediately after the fight in his locker room "No problem." Manny just does not want to take blood right before the fight, as he feels that may hurt the fighter, if not physically, maybe mentally.

I wanted to know if this was something real, or just for the sake of conversation.

so basically Manny was not ready for Mayweather at 147? please explain to me why is 14 days acceptable to Manny now all of a sudden and what have changed since January? Manny's camp took a gamble and it did not payoff Floyd became the top dog and now they will have to accept a worse offer then the one they rejected back then

I think Floyd would except the 14 days because Floyd really wants the fight , but I think 50/50 is now out the window and Manny will have to take a lower pay , that was the gamble they took and Floyd trumped them .

Pac had the upper hand against Floyd 6 months ago when PPV buys of his fight against Cotto were higher compared to Floyd's (JMM-PBF) but team Pac was amenable to a 50/50 split. I dont see any reason why Floyd should demand anything higher than 50/50 now that he has the upper hand... And please dont talk about what happened in 2007. Its what you have done recently that should matter.

If Floyd/Mosley does 2+ million buys (or even 1.5 million buys), which I think it should, Floyd's demand of 60% is completely justified. And with the fight being in such demand now compared to last December......if Manny doesn't agree to the random blood testing procedure, he's clearly ducking Floyd. BTW, I doubt it's a $40 million drug procedure, I think it's higher now due to the extremely high demand of the fight.
