Pacquiao Accepts 14 Day Cut-Off. Will Mayweather-Pacquiao HAPPEN?

    Poll coming...

I'm pretty sure we all knew what negotiating factor killed the fight for Mayweather-Pacquiao on March 13 and that was the cut off date. Pacquiao wanted 24 days and Floyd wanted 14.

Floyd now no longer wants a cut off date and most likely won't agree to a 50/50 with the purse.
And Pacquiao has changed his mind in his latest official statement that he's willing to take 14 days. http://pacman.craveonline.com/articl...ilippines-time

I'm interested to see how you all think the possible renegotiations will result in. We know these two have large egos, but this is the fight of our era (no matter what your opinions are of either fighter) and some budging needs to be made. Pacquiao changing his mind has given me some hope.

This is just a prediction thread.

Will they agree to the 14 day cut off? No cut offs?

    Also:
Do you think it will be 50/50? 60/40?
Where will the fight be located? Vegas? Texas?
Will the $10 million weight penalty still be in the contract?

Or will the fight never happen? And Arum screws us all?

Umm, thats not what Floyd wants. Random testing or nothing, no cutoffs.

I think that if Manny agrees to the 14 day cutoff, the fight can be made.

Floyd not wanting a cut off date means he wants the testing up to the fight.

So we don't have lift off.

A cutoff defeats the whole purpose of insuring whether a fighter is clean or not. What a joke.

Mayweather says no cutoff. Also keep in mind, Pacquiao only agreed to 3 blood tests. Thats another serious issue people are overlooking.

OSDT could never work with Pac the way it did with Mosley.

His schedule is too chaotic for the drug people to keep track of him.

Hell, Koncz his adviser and right hand man can hardly keep track of him.
