It is difficult for a 38 year old to sustain his punch output through 12, especially at the lower weights where output is naturally higher. It's a good win by Mayweather but people are going way overboard hyping this win, making it more than what it really is. Mayweather did what he was supposed to do, he dispatched a 38 year old former world champion, who was removed from his prime. He showed toughness and some heart to go along with his incredible talent. It's on to the next one and someone like Paul Williams would put a stamp on his greatness. I can't see anyone beating Mayweather but you never know in boxing, when your night comes calling.

DLH dictated the terms against Manny and got KTFO.
This is still a 50:50 split. Of course Mayweather is going to sell more USA PPVs... he's American!
They can only make this type of money with each other.

Before the fight OH Mayweather is gonna get knocked out, he's never faced a real welterweight before, mosley can do it all and has just as much speed as mayweather. But the after the fight. Mosley was old and over the hill. Mosley gassed out in 2 rounds LMAO!! And these are the same people that gave Pac all the credit in the world for De la hoya, Hatton, Cotto, and Clottey. JUST STOP HATIN!!
He did what he was supposed to do and it's a good win. I've been consistent in saying I thought Mosley would lose and was correct in how/why he wouldn't be able to pull out the win. It's a good win but you're acting like he beat a prime Pernell whitaker, he beat a 38 year former world champion who in his last 6 fights, was only able to show flashes of his former greatness.Last edited by switchsouthpaw; 05-02-2010, 03:41 PM.
