It is difficult for a 38 year old to sustain his punch output through 12, especially at the lower weights where output is naturally higher. It's a good win by Mayweather but people are going way overboard hyping this win, making it more than what it really is. Mayweather did what he was supposed to do, he dispatched a 38 year old former world champion, who was removed from his prime. He showed toughness and some heart to go along with his incredible talent. It's on to the next one and someone like Paul Williams would put a stamp on his greatness. I can't see anyone beating Mayweather but you never know in boxing, when your night comes calling.
I like Paul Williams but honestly. He makes too many mistakes
and leaves himself open tooooo much for a counter puncher
like Floyd with that technical ability and accurate adjustments.
BUT would love to see the them fight.

Jesus Grustler then retire, you guys seem to think he beats everyone, so what's the point of continuing to be active? He has to fight someone, why not fight someone young and in their prime, regardless of how we can all "predict" the outcome in advance.

It's a shame nobody has mentioned THAT yet.
That is true Mayweather never panics. He's always cool and calm. And thinkin about how they said Pac was so worried when he got cut with Morales. His mental toughness isn't on the same level as Mayweather's and his skill level isn't on the same level as Mayweather's. Mayweather is the best fighter to make in ring adjustments he dont need his corner to tell him nothing he can do it on his own. And how many times have you seen a corner tell a fighter to do something and he don't do it? That's why all that talk about Naz I was worried about it. Cause he can't fight for Shane. Mayweather overcame adversity last night. And I thought he silenced the critics and the haters but that's impossible.

Who you got in that fight lol.

I give Mayweather credit for the win, again he did what he was supposed to do and showed toughness that I didn't think he had in him, kudos to him, but stop going overboard and exaggerating this win as per usual.

He did what he was supposed to do and it's a good win. I've been consistent in saying I thought Mosley would lose and was correct in how/why he wouldn't be able to pull out the win. It's a good win but you're acting like he beat a prime Pernell whitaker, he beat a 38 year former world champion who in his last 6 fights, was only able to show flashes of his former greatness.
In the bold..............CUT IT OUT!!!!! He beat the same Shane that most people on BS thought would beat him. Just give it up with the age mess. A very fit Shane showed up to fight last night bottomline!

I'm not discrediting anything, you're "over" crediting. I give him credit, read that again...I give him credit, he did what he was supposed to do. I don't hate the guy and stop throwing that word around just because someone doesn't get as excited as you do about a win.
