Sad end to a once good fighter.......

Well guys, I guess I was wrong in giving MOSLEY a chance. He simply got old over night and it didn't help that he hadn't fought in almost a year in a half. I thought he had MAYWEATHER out in the second round though. GOOD recovery by MAYWEATHER. It was a GOOD performance. I still think that MANNY is a special fighter and although he is smaller, he poses a REAL CHALLENGE to him. I hope that fight can be made as well. There is still work to be doen before I call MAYWEATHER an all-time great. BERTO is willing to fight him, WILLIAMS is willing to fight him. cotto is willing to fight him. MARTINEZ is also willing to fight him. So, there is definatley reason to keep fighting for MAYWEATHER. His reflexes are still really good but he has slowed just enough to be in exciting fights!!

You all talked crap about the Man, about what he wouldn't do who he wouldn't fight and Blah, Blah,Blah. He said that ya'll would do exactly what you all are doing. Shane was just a shell, Shane got old etc....

Never giving the Man the credit he deserves, He is a BOXER!! Not an MMA fighter, Boxing is the Science of Hitting & Not Getting hit and that's what he is known for. Last Night he fought and made Mosley look average and he by no means is anywhere near average.

Give the Man his props he stood in there and did his thing.
Accept it He is the Best!!! Maybe ever (when it comes to pure Boxing).

and like many others you will be the first to say the same about Pac when he gets schooled by Mayweather's technical greatness. Nobody ever looks good fighting Mayweather. Pac is no exception.

People called for Mayweather to fight the best and he did. He stood toe to toe with arguably the strongest true WW in the sport and dominated him. Mosley is a beast and if he was fighting anyone else you would have seen it. I still favor Mosley over Pac.

Look, I'm a Floyd fan butI'm not going to sit here and say Pacquiao ain't **** even though I believe Pac is a little suspect when it come to PEDS.

Pac has been taking care of business in impressive fashion. But IMO I believe that Floyd's style is not good for Pac.

Pac loves to take a lot of chances by attacking with multiple punches. And the more you try that with Floyd the more you pay dearly with some mean azz acurate counter shots.

Remember what ****r Richardson told Shane in between one of the late rounds..."This kid is gifted with conditioning but that's all". I don't know about the "that's all" part but Floyd is just as much a gym rat like Pac.

The bottom line is if Floyd-Pac happens I see something similar happening as Floyd-Shane. Floyd's style just won't allow Pac to come off like Pac's prior opponents.

Floyd didn't want to fight Mosley for the belt because of mandatory Paul "The Punisher" Williams in the welterweight division. Paul wants the fight, but you know Floyd is scared of true fighters that are in their prime, because they will prime that ______. Berto if he pressures Floyd will easily knock him out, that's why he doesn't want to fight Manny. Manny won't let him think about his game plan. He will apply to much pressure with too many punches. Same with Paul.

Maybe he didn't want to make it a title fight because he doesn't want to pay sanctioning fees? And Paul is pretty much backed up, Cintron then potential Martinez rematch, and Pavlik is going to be available. Or are you going to continue to label Floyd a ducker no matter what he does? Didn't Mayweather say he fights ONLY for money? Then why does he care about a drug test? It's an excuse that he can use not to fight Pacman. Pacman has alot of money and doesn't need a $40 million payday? Can Floyd make any real 'money' fighting anyone else? With the $22 million he made for Mosley, he has broke even. He owes Golden Boy Promotions $10 million for covering his IRS debt. The other $12 million goes to taxes (they take 50% which is $11 million) and then after paying Roger and all his other cronies, he is left broke, again. Unfortunately, the fight with Pacman and Floyd Jr. will NEVER happen. It's ****** and dumb and whoever you want to blame is fine, but in reality, both are to blame. Mayweather was dumb to retire and throw around money he didn't have and Pacman is dumb to run for a congressional seat in the Philippines. If Pacman wins, you can forget about it people. He will retire and that will be that....

Also, a quick note, Mayweather didn't fight for Mosley's belt because he could not afford the sanctioning fees, it has nothing to do with ducking P-Will or ducking anyone for that matter. Floyd Jr. marches to his own beat and can care less about belts or who he 'has' to fight next. Remember, he only fights for "money" because he has none and needs all he can get....
