thank you captain obvious! no one has ever said he's an elite fighter. he's called a "prospect"! damn ignorant ass people. canelo is gonna learn from this. due cotto had one round! hahaha! canelo won the rest of them. so ya para de joder hermano. shiiiit.Canelo did look like he was all hype...Canelo fought a José Cotto(who's actually a lightweight) at jr middle weight(3 divisions above his natural weight) which is basically Canelo's natural weight & Canelo had a height & reach advantage & Canelo had the almost the same amounts of fights as Cotto(Cotto had 1 more, but Canelo claims to have 44 fights which is more than Cotto)...So by the look of things & with all the advantages that were in favor of Alvarez & if was as good as they made him out to be he should have crushed Cotto in 4 rounds or less...But instead Canelo got rocked by the much smaller & highly overweight fighter(Cotto looked like a little barrel) in the 1st round & even thou Alvarez was winning the fight, Cotto basically took Canelo's punches very well & Cotto was the one taking the fight to Alvarez & the fight would have gone the distance if the ref wouldn't stopped it(I thought to fight was stopped prematurely) Cotto was taking shots, but Alvarez was also missing some & Cotto was swinging back & wasn't really hurt....I think Alvarez is not ready for the Berto's, Collazo's, or the Julio's & the Angulo's of the welter & jr middle divisions..With all this said never mind the elite of these weight clases......
Bye the way Cotto even thou Cotto's last fights(before this one) were at 144 & 143lbs, before that he was off for 2 years(2007 to 2009) & while he was off he blew up to 200lbs & was working his way down to his natural 135 or at least 140lbs....Comment

i dont think his chin is weak. it was a very good shot he didnt see that caught him in b/t punches. he still recuperated fine and kept his composure.
canelo's a dangerous, hard punching sharp shooter.
hes just gotta keep his guard tighter and hold the phone when he throws the hook.Comment
