It's understandable that *****s would think that a Mayweather win over Mosley is a great win.

Don't forget Mayweather is not in the habit of fighting worthy opponents.

LOL The thread starter is obviously a Pac fan and Mayweather hater. If Mosley is so "Beyond" it then how come Pac wouldnt fight him? How does Pac look??? lmao.. Mosley is the number 3 P4P fighter right now in boxing and number 1 welterweight.

Well referring back to the title, for Floyd it is a "great" win, his greatest win perhaps, but then does not say much about the other 40 fighters.

In the context of ATG status, its a good-very good win. The only way it is "great" is if it is a shutout or a KO win.

Hes the P4P Number 3. Period. Whether you like it or not. Hes also the rightful Number 1 WW.

            Great win.

I agree he is the rightful WW champion, and this will be a VERY good win for Floyd, but I question Shane's spot as the number 3 p4p fighter. Since 2004 he has a string of wins over either shot opponents or fighters who shouldn't propel his name up that high with the exception of Margarito who's recent past wins have to be taken into question (though there is no proof) and who never ascended that high on the p4p list himself. Mosley is a fantastic fighter and this would be a great win for Floyd, but I just can't understand the reasoning behind Shane being ranked as high as he is p4p.

In case you can't remember, there was a big ordeal about the wraps before the fight even started. It got out very fast.

It's not Shane's fault that he fought a punching bag. I commend him for beating up the cheater. But don't act like Margarito was some monster that night, because he wasn't. He was degraded to a C level fighter, without his wraps.

Mayweather will win the fight, because Mosley is SHOT.

And I don't know what you're talking about with my username. I registered earlier this morning and this is the only one I have.

                Oh come on.

You could make a case against any fighter's opponents... including Pac's.

But why bother/// just enjoy the boxing

Its somewhere between good and great- very good win. Nothing more. Mosley has 5 losses and was beaten by Miguel Cotto. The 5 loss part is something Mosley kept talking about.

The thing is he can add Mosley to Hall Of Fame fighters he beat-although Mosley is a little pass his prime and has 16 moth layoff. DLH, Hernandez are the only two other HOF's that PBF beat. Guys like Hatton, Corrales, and Castillo have shot at HOF but are not guaraned to make it. Gatti is not a HOF.

Wraps only provide an edge, its not some magic thing that makes you an unholy terror. Trying to take Mosley's credit away from that win is laughable.

For instance Hopkins still schooled Pavlik in his 40's but RJJ took a long dive off a short pier in his 30's.. And as to whats going on in his life, Mosley says he is in a good place right now.

So, not passed it.. just out skilled this time.
Anyone can look like a beast against a punching bag, like Mosley did.

So you're telling me that the Mosley fighting tonight is the same Mosley that fought DLH in their first fight? Please..
