How is this anything like Meldrick Taylor? Meldrick beat the count, was standing on his own power, was able to walk forward, but Steele called the fight for no reason.

Hasagawa was out on his feet and only standing because he was holding the ropes, while Montiel was having a field day on his head with huge shots. Get the **** out of here with the corruption BS.

Fact is Hasagawa was overated, his resume is weak as hell, and his sudden KO power is highly su****ious. He was just a name people wanted to boost up because at the time King Kong Abecko was coming off his big win over Darchiniyan.

      ****** thread.
hasegawa was defenseless and was so hurt he couldnt even bring his hands up or move his head.
the ref is supposed to make calls according to the action, not the reaction. doesnt matter if his eyes were clear as day after the stoppage. the fact is that he was a sitting duck getting wailed on by a powerful, accurate, fast-handed puncher.

Hands down one of the worst stoppages I've seen all year.

        "out on his feet" lmao!

How bout, in order to beat the champion you lay him out on his back.

        How bout that?

Big ****ing deal. He would've walked to his corner, got some water thrown on his face and he would've been fine.

          This is boxing. Not pattycake.
Lulz, like that did Tony any good against Mosley.

It was stopped with 1 second left on the damn clock.

Thats how its the same as Taylor/Chavez.

The dude's a damn champ at 118. He deserves a chance to fight back.

The ref basically took Hasegawa's career in his hands, folded it up in a little square, wiped his ass with it and threw it the garbage.

                Thanks Lawrence Cole.

                You fat ****.

jack, it was a good stoppage. if there was 3 seconds instead of 1 it would have been really bad.

no need to discredit hasegawa. montiel is a very good boxer and hasegawa was giving him the business the first 3 rounds, he just got caught.

Tony was way more hurt than Hasegawa. Tony actually went down.

Hasegawa was still standing and talking to the ref at the end.
