Floyd looked like a middleweight in there man. He wouldn't disclose his fightnight weight because then the obvious mismatch was evident for even the most ******ed floydstan.

hhhhmm not bringing it down too much but baldo only beat judah to get that title, oscar was only ranked i think 3 at jmw by ring at the time (actually think its lower), jmm was a lightweight champ and hatton was the jww champ, not saying they werent good wins as they were but not earthshattering opponents imo

Mayweather never hydrated over 149lb in a WW fight which is less than what most LWW's weigh in the ring.
Hasnt floyd stopped allowing fight night weighins for his last few fights? If i remember i think he has and if he has that suggests to me he may be larger now

yeah...I have an agenda...by wondering where you got the 159lbs.....

I believe since the DLH fight....he weighed 150lbs at the weigh in for that..but diddn't disclose fight night weight.

HOWEVER, the way Floyd ducked prime Cotto for Hatton was slightly disgraceful... although I put as much blame on Cotto for that not happening.

I really don't like the way Arum fighters don't stick up for themselves and call out the best.

                    Anyway, good list.
Are you kidding, Floyd offered both of them a fight at 140, the world knows they ducked him. If I'm at 140 and Zoo retires, and Cotto and Hatton avoids you, the next step is obvious...Oscar De La Hoya.

You are an idiot if you think that Cotto would have beat Tsyzu in half the time. Ricky had a better style for Tszyu, though Tszyu was on his way he still was a very well calibrated devastating puncher. Cotto in all likeliness would have had his career ruined. He would have been just another Zab Judah. If Corley hurt Cotto what do you think Tszyu would have done? Cotto doesn't have the crowding style that Hatton did jump in and hold which if that wouldn't have happened Hatton would have lost by KO. Cotto would have came to Tszyu, someone who can Knock someone down twice with one punch ala Judah. Cotto's chin was super suspect at 140 and it would have ruined Cotto earlier then he was ruined if it weren't for them holding him out of the ring with Tszyu. Cotto was all wrong for a amazing boxing puncher like Tszyu who was a man who knew his distance very well. His power was probably one of the best the 140 pound has ever seen, I remember hearing about a guy who trained for Tszyu with middleweights to prepare for the power, he still got KO'd.

Cotto was pretty protected fighter at 140 as well, he didn't fight either linear champ in Hatton or Tszyu while he was a champ in 2003 he avoided them even the KT fought Hatton in 05. He fought alot of solid fighters but none of them were special fighters. Cotto was always talked about at 140 as well maybe it is time to step up and fight some elite fighters he never did.

Mind you they did right by Cotto as he wasn't made for 140 and needed to move up but Cotto was not the man at 140, he was there to take the throne but never did. Hell he was never even the man at 147, Cotto was always the threat that never truly came to. Cotto though a champ is not as good as we make him out to be, he is not any more special then alot of fighters. He has a weaker heart then many of the champions past, he gives up in fights when he is hurt, until he hurts them with punches.

Cotto is the talented fighter without a chin and not enough heart. Plain and simple.
