that was a great list. but the real deal is what we want against than what we get. the people are the best judges, they aren't blind. majority of them sees.

        What does that mean?

Btw, I saw your Pacman avatar. You do realize the majority thought Pacqauio lost to Marquez, right?

I have plenty of criticism of Floyd's career post-135, but his fight tomorrow against Shane isn't one...depending on how the fight plays out of course.

LOL it wasn't like Oscar was this Giant against Floyd. Plus, someone who has a size advantage against you can only be effective if he knows how to enforce it. Oscar's never really needed to fight like the "bigger guy" more than just Oscar being Oscar (which is what he was). Aged a bit, not competitively fighting, I really didn't see anything Oscar was gonna do to beat Floyd, but that's me.

I never call Floyd a "duck", I just say he chose the best financial options for him with the least risk possible, which Floyd subliminally makes mention of regularly.

                Let's see what happens Saturday....

Floyd wasn't "this giant" against Marquez either, for the casual readers.

He's honestly, imo, a better fighter than Margarito.

People wanted to critizcize Floyd for not ko'ing Baldo, but all that got shut down when Vernon Forest couldn't ko Baldo... at 154.
                    Excellent post.

Even though unheralded, he was unceremoniously the 2nd best fighter at 147 at the time. Nobody should be knocking Floyd for that win.

And Baldo's chin was so good he wasn't even flinching at Forrest's power at '54. Viper also got free shots off on Carlos and Baldy still acted like a bee was just annoying him. It discouraged the f- out Vernon, but he just kept grinding. I don't think Margarito would've survived an onslaught of power like that. No way.

At the time, I thought they were even, but Carlos had a better chin than Marg.. and like said, better hand speed and even developed some power himself. Viper was feeling those punches, telling Larry to look at his face in the pfi. Baldomir would've given all of the other WWs some trouble back then minus Paul Williams.
