I think the fans that tend to be the most passionate are the ones with not many fighters who are world ranked. I guess I say this with the exception of Mexico which as we all know always has more than a few great fighters fighting at any given time.

Look at the Philipinos with Pacquio. They are very passionate fans, but it started after Pac beat Barrera. I think that the fact that they only have one guy to root for makes them seem more passionate than other fans too. All of their passion is concentrated on one fighter. This is also true with Brittons and Hatton.

America has a lot of good fighters so the fight fans who are passionate are all spread out - not focused on one fighter. Therefore, Philipinos and Brittons seem more passionate.

Does this make sense?

It was amazing that Britain held them at bay as long as they did considering that they were fighting a country with over 4 times the population. No single country could have defeated the ****s, USA included, so it annoys the **** out of me when Americans think they won the war single handed, and I am American. SO essentially the USA did beat Germany singlehandedly..we were also fighting Japan at the time.. And in case you forgot ****head the Atomic Bomb was developed..
