The WW2 talk started a couple of days ago. I guess it was inevitable, with the Britain - America rivalry that's been building up here for a while.

Reminds me of a scene from that Simpsons episode that took place in the future with Lisa's fiancee Hugh:

p.s... as214, don't base you history knowledge on Hollywood films! I'm refering to your comments, "The Battle of Britain caused a major delay of the invasion of Britain. If the ****s had no invaded USSR, the Americans, Canadians and Brits would have had a hell of a time breaking the Normandy Beach head".

The whole coast line was set upon and there were hundreds of beaches taken on that day by many different nations involved. (Omaha beach just happened to be a particular one that was bloody and the Americans fought). That battle was just a tip of the iceberg, I can only imagine you've brought that particular battle up because there were a few Hollywood films made about it.

I only asked because commentators always say, "Las Vegas fans are notoriously the hardest to please" And I'm suprised when I hear boo's just because the fight isn't playing out like Corrales/Castillo...
