and thats the beef with this law! the probable cause in this case is being of hiospanic desent. i have been stopped for driving while black seeveral times. the problem for the racist cops in those instances is, i have the means to keep lawyers on the books to help me in this waste of money fight. and every time the cops dropped the beef before it went to trial. the prosecuting att. did not want to risk the egg on the face from my legal team. so all the people posting you cant be stopped for no reason you are fortunate to live in such a world. the world me and plenty of others live in, you can be stopped for the color of your skin.

This law would be good if the police were required on each and every traffic stop, regardless of who is inside of the vehicle, to ask for documentation each and every time. But the law as it stands targets one particular group (latinos) and opens the door for widespread racial profiling.
I have a better idea, how about Americans start teaching their lazy kids to learn another language, since we operate in a global economy, outsource jobs and manufacture absolutely nothing.

Funny enough half of these ************* are nothing more than high school graduates who work low level labor/civil jobs and barely speak English coherently yet see themselves as superior to other races. I say we should employ an education requirement in order to vote, then laws such as this one would never come to pass and once again for good measure...**** ARIZONA.

If you want a better life come on over and get it. And your right in a way it is discriminatory. But what percent of illegals are Mexicans? Serousily that's a question I would like an answer to but I can't help but imagine it is a majority hispanic. But if a bank was robbed and the person was 5'7 with long hair and you matched that description would you be annoyed with being questioned? Yeah you would but what do you expect? You match the description but can prove it wasn't you. Shouldn't you be happy the police are doing their job? Personally I believe Mexicans have better morals than most Americans. Sorry America but most of Mexico is good people. I don't agree with the law per say, but it's happy to see the laws enforced.
Exactly! There should be serious jail-time and fines for employing illegal immigrants; especially considering the fact that you can go to jail for much lesser things in this country (example: unpaid traffic tickets). If employers did not offer illegal immigrants jobs on a consistent basis then there probably would not be such a big problem with illegal immigrants. Everyone is always looking to save a buck, but I bet the employers would think twice if they risked serious jail-time.

I'm not sure I'd describe the US as a group of welfare states. I believe in welfare reform, there has to be a means to end, but compassion for those in poverty does not always equate to welfare.
Well first off maybe they vote conservative because they risked their lives to leave their socialist country. As far as helping the poor I think we should. I think everyone should do their part to help out the world, I just don't think it's up to the government to decide how much we should give. I'm a college stundent who makes ten dollars an hour working part time. I don't have much money but I still donate money to the Christian Childrens Fund. I sponser a kid in Mexico because I love Mexicans and want to do my part. I don't want to see anyone suffer. I think everyone, regardless of where you live should help those less fortunate, but I think it should come from you heart rather than a mandate from the government.

They may face some fines but they'll never see jail time. **********s love big business and have indirectly supported hiring illegals by turning the cheek and allowing these companies to pilfer mexico's work-force for slave wages. This is nothing more than legislated/institutional racism rearing it's head once again.....ohhh one more for good measure **** Arizona.

**** cubans who think they are white, like I said I can't tell the difference between them or Erik Morales, so they have no room from which to speak.

Haitians can't even seek political asylum once they arrive on US soil, even though their country is fraught with political instability and poverty, so Cubans need to thank whatever Jesus poster they prayer to every night, that they received favorable preferential treatment over Haitians with respect to US residency requirements.

I think it's great that you contribute to the impoverished, and this isn't an insult, but you stated that you only make 10 dollars an hour, let me assure you that don't pay much in the way of taxes and therefore whatever limited taxes you do pay goes towards infrastructure and not social programs.

Thanks brother, respect to you as well. We can debate boxing anytime, but this issue is a larger issue where we can seek some common ground....**** ARIZONA.

Yes it is a sad sad cycle. It is crazy that people are angry at the exploited but could careless about the ones doing the exploiting. But I guess that has always been the "American" way of doing things. The older I get the more I understand the statement "The more things change, the more they stay the same"....lastly I whole heartedly agree, **** Arizona.
