You people are ******. You can not be stopped for no reason and searched. They can ask for your papers if they have a valid reason to make contact with you, i.e. a traffic stop. Don't hear anyone complaining about Mexico having a law where it is a federal crime to be in the country illegally. If the jack ass at the WBC wanted to do someting how about he says they forbid anyone that is not a US citizen that is in their rankings from fighting in the state.

And for the record my father came legally from Mexico on a student visa then became a legal resident while he was here. I have no need for illegal immigrants from any country. And by the way this is the same law as the federal law already on the books AZ is just going to enforce it.

Yes they will. Being Latino will be reasonable-cause. Unless the police are REQUIRED to ask everyone (white, latino, black, asian, etc.) if they are citizens of the United States on each and every traffic stop and/or incident, then the law is discriminatory and unconstitutional.

El Salvador doesn't have a border problem, you know why? Because there are no jobs there. Illegals are a problem to be sure, but the bigger problem and the source of the real issue is that for to long companies have favored cheap labor in order to expand profits, and doing so on the backs of illegals providing them with work and paying them slave wages, it borders on indentured servitude.

It's seems as if it's ok to outsource American jobs to immigrants, but you offer them work illegally and only now it's become a problem? This all boils down to this...there exists a certain part of the population that are conservative in nature and feel that American culture is being eroded by having to assimilate with other cultures, rather than those from other cultures coming here and assimilating into what you think American culture is or isn't. Most other cultures share certain common attributes, whether it's food or music, define American culture? This is a country of immigrants period.

You can enforce the law without the need for racial profiling, it's open to the interpretation of the police officer making the stop, and what do they base the traffic stop on? I guarantee there will be civil suits flying once widespread abuse of this new law takes hold. This new law is unconstitutional and it's why Eric Holder is looking into challenging the law through the supreme court.

Please tell me why we need a law for it to be illegal to be an illegal immagrant? Like the person above me said you can't just be pulled over for being mexican. If there's a traffic stop sure they may ask for papers, but why is it absurd to prove your hear legally? I feel for people who want to be here for our freedom, I do, but do it legally. Personally I think it's crazy people have to pay crazy amounts just to get here. I wish I was rich so I could help them. No one should have to pay to be a citizen. All they should need is a love for freedom and a desire to help America and continue the American dream. I love Mexicans, serouisly. I love how much they love family, love their faith, and most of all I love their women. But serouisly if I stole food foor my starving family would the case be thrown out? No it wouldn't. The saddest thing is the fact that Mexico has harder immigration laws and yet were being ripped for supporting the law. I love Mexicans, but not more than I love law abiding citizens.

Just to be clear I'm not the biggest fan of how this law works. Personally I think it should be more focused on business getting in trouble for hiring illegals because if you take away the jobs you take away the reason to come. I blame **********s for this as they love cheap labor and aren't willing to address it.

What kind of reasonable-cause or behavior would suggests to an officer that any given individual might be here illegally?

-Because they don't have a Driver's License? No. There are plenty of people pulled over each day across the country who drive without a license but does that suggests that they are in the country unlawfully? No.

-Because they don't speak English? No. No one is required to speak English in this country. In fact there are many adults who cannot even read or write English.

There is no way that this law will remain in place.

i know i shouldn't get heated, but f•ck this. I'm tired of mexicans/latinos being the scapegoats all the damn time for every problem with this country.

You got american banks, oil companies and the elite raping this country for a long time now, yet undocumented people are the cause for all the ills of our society? It's always the "*******s" fault, but what about the people who hire undocumented workers? Why isn't there a bigger outcry against them? People just can't come here and steal jobs unless someone hires them. Laws are starting to go after employers but the workers are the ones that face all the racism. Plus, people always point out all these "luxuries" that the undocumented get like not paying taxes. Yeah, i might not like it either since i do pay taxes, but it makes me more pissed when the ****** rich get tax breaks. And people conveniently forget that undocumented workers can get screwed and not get paid for a job then can't complain or do anything about it.

The government sends young americans to die for oil that will financially benefit only a tiny percentage of the country yet people want to ***** and moan about the average person who comes here to clean toilets, mown lawns and peel potatoes. The government ****s you in the ass daily, but you mad about "pedro" building a f•cking roof. If some undocumented mexicans do something wrong like commit a serious crime, then suddenly all undocumented workers are stigmatized as evil, freeloading predators.

If you're not a minority here in the usa, then you don't know what it's like to be racially profiled. (no offense to my white e-friends on here.) most of you just don't know what it feels like to be suspected of being a criminal when you didn't do jack ****. I mean, some white people go ape**** just because they feel they can't say anything against ********** without there being an "uproar." if it makes you that mad, imagine what it would feel like if everywhere you went people (cops) were asking you, "do you belong here?"

Again El Salvador doesn't seem to have an immigration but America does, ask yourself why? JOBS,JOBS AND JOBS and who exactly is providing these low wage jobs, American companies...we can get rich off the backs of illegals but when they decide to stay now it's a problem, this is a human rights violation and again is unconstitutional and not even in the state constitution. I know because I'm the "random" check at the airport.

first of all, let me say i would trade jokes for being able to shop in peace without feeling the eyes of security on me every time i'm in a store or to get pulled over by the cops just because i fit the profile.

Secondly, howard stern and other white comedians (like andrew dice clay and lisa lampanelli, i would post one of her routines but they're censored by youtube... Not because of content but copyright infringement) say racist jokes all the time. Plus, let's not forget that conservative talk radio goes on racist rampages.

If you think not being able to make jokes is what racism feels like, then you really don't know what it truly is like being discriminated against, imo.

I am Latino and they have a higher percentage then any other group for being here illegally. If a car is stopped and the person can not speak a lick of english then that in my book is reason to ask for papers. I wish all border states would pass laws like this then maybe there would be less of a problem.

If the jobs are so desirable by the illegal immigrants the companies should just move to Mexico, China or where ever. Be rid of them for good. I see illegals every single day and for the most part they are good people I have no problem with the people its just the way they come here that bothers me.
