Definitely can respect, it takes a strong unbiased person to be able to look past his flaws and appreciate his genius in the ring. I don't think that its only other races who hates Floyd, there are a lot of blacks who don't like him and rightfully so. The thing that i have a problem with is when people go overboard with the racially insulting comments, pics etc towards anyone of any race and i do think he catches a lot of it compared to other boxers who currently do the same as he does.

Yes it's incredible how many racially, culturally and gender degrading things are allowed here day after day while people get banned here for basically nothing. I agree with you in that it is not entirely a racial thing or as dramatic as a "Jack Johnson" but there is some racial undertones especially in the names you see "anonymous" people on the internet call him. Compare this to other athletes in the sport of boxing who come off as pricks, brag as much or even trash talk more and are more disrespectful e.g Froch, Mayorga and the backlash is different. Now i'm not saying that he doesn't call it upon himself or its all racial but theres some truth to it.

Floyd is a undefeated Black Fighter who has dominated many Mexicans so naturally many mexicans are going to dislike/feel threatend (I expect an even greater wave of Racism from pinoys if Floyd ends up beating Manny)

Like wise Waldamir Klitscko and Even Joe Calzaghe have dominated many Black Fighters in their time so many Blacks feel threatend by these fighters.....especially in the case of Waldamir....

I've seen that a couple of times and am in disbelief the next time i see the posters posting stuff again without being banned. The way how people are biased you would think that Floyd was the murderer here.
