fighter to go 12rds and get stronger and more precise doing it.
Shane is a dominating fighter but only to guys that come forward
and are slower than him. Floyd is going to expose all the openings
that shane has and make him pay for every big, off balance, power
punch he throws. I think the fight will be entertaining but I see
Floyd getting Mosley frustrated because he can't land effectively
and get out of character. Surprising on how many people sleep
on Floyd. Until I see him rusty in the ring then I am always put
my confidence in Floyd pulling the W off.
im sure he is conditioned and trained to his full potential.

however, how can you say he trains harder than anyone and is in the best shape of anyone in boxing? where do you get these facts where you can compare him to every single boxer out there and know he is physically superior in stamina and endurance in every way?

you are not in the gym with him and every other fighter in america, how do you know?

if you compare his punch statistics he isnt as active as many other fighters out there.

i have no doubt he is in the best shape he is physically capable of.

but it just gets tiresome hearing you say he is in the best shape of anyone in boxing when you cant possibly know that in any way. ever.

another thing, shane has been a dominating fighter against others fighters who dont just come forward and are slow. come on now.

    cotto is a fast boxer.
collazo is a quick counter puncher, isnt a stalking slow boxer.
what about dlh? he was not slow in his prime and was a great boxer during both fights.
if margacheato was so slow how did he even land his plaster against cotto?
winky had quick hands in his prime.

i have no problem with you rooting for floyd, that is cool.

just dont be dishonest and illogical

As far as him coming down to 147, I don't know if its possible, maybe he can meet the figter at a catchweight - I know a lot of people are worried about catchweights, but if it's for the sake of making the fight comfortable for both fighters, I'm all for it. Pound 4 Pound people, read the words.
god bless him, he is a warrior, i think a bit over rated, but a warrior nonetheless.

i think sergio out pointed him and would love to see him fight pavlik, which i think pavlik would get him out.

but yes. pwill is a fighter through and through.

thats exactly what I think. I would be a mess trying to decide who I would want to win between floyd and paul... both are my favs by far!

shane has already stated he's not fighting PW....beating floyd would cement that stance, b/c there'd be a rematch, possibly a third fight, then pacquiao. if you're hanging your hat on shane winning, b/c you want to see him fight PW, i don't know what to tell you. shane wasn't interested in that fight, even when it was his best option monetarily.

I think thats the problem. HE NEEDS SOME BELTS AT WELTERWEIGHT SO WHOEVER FIGHTS HIM CAN GAIN SOMETHING OUTTA THE DEAL, OTHER THAN THAT THE ODDS ARE FOR HIM, IF HE BEATS MAYWEATHER, HE IS ROCKETED TO STARDOM, MAKES MORE MONEY THAN HE ever would have period. If I was Mayweather though he would be my last fight, go out with a **** ya know?
going out with a ****, would be beating pacquiao. nobody cares about paul williams.....except "no ceilings"

            Re Baldomir:

"Mayweather should be the favorite," Margarito said, "but Baldomir's a dangerous fighter. We'll see."
            - Antonio Margarito

"The only two threats I see at 147 pounds are Mayweather and Baldomir," Margarito recently told ESPN.com over brunch in Las Vegas. He will have, he said, a rooting interest Saturday night.
            - Antonio Margarito

"It's a good fight," Williams said. "They're calling it 'Pretty Risky.' To me, it's a toss-up. It don't matter who you're in the ring with, it only takes one punch to change the whole night around."
            -Paul Williams

"Like I said, it's a pick 'em," added Smith, although he marginally favors the underdog. "As the fight gets gritty, toward the later rounds, the championship rounds, I'd have to lean toward the bigger guy."
            -Ishe Smith

"My heart is going toward Mayweather on a decision," he said. "It's going to be a tough fight for him, but I think he's going to pull it off. I just think that Baldomir's toughness is going to take him through to the end of the fight."
            - Kermit Cintron

Absolutely agree. I just appreciate Williams as a fighter who doesn't shy away from a challenge, a lot like Mosley. Do you think any of the top welterweights would take that chance and fight Williams? What about the catchweight idea...150 or so?

This seems to be likely. He knows Mayweather will most likely win, and wants to irrate him to make a fight more likely. Cintron was making a honest pick, but Paul seemed to be just B.S.ing and boasting.
