First of all the fact that Foyd wanted to concide and negotiate a cutoff date shows that all he is trying to do is get a mental advantage. I mean People are saying certain drugs leave your system in a day or a few days.

So im pretty sure if Manny was using some quick drug, then im pretty sure 14 days would be enough to cycle these drugs. Its all mental and the fact that Roach wants 17 means Manny wants the final word in the negotiations

The other times, other private companies do the test for all the other sports

So USADA only tests like 1% of athlete and several have also slipped through their testing, so whos says its the best and why?

is not who is running the tests it's about it being random thats the whole point regardless of the reason of asking for OST by Mayweather is doing something great for the sports and if the 2 best fighters in the world agree to it then you know the boxing commissions would adopt random testing eventually. thats the whole point of this thing so you could actually compare fighters from this era to the other era's because you KNOW there clean unlike baseball and football

I think Roach is beginning to realize that Floyd is the real money maker, its true that whoever floyd fights gets their biggest Payday. Roach, is worried about the prediction that this might be a record breaker, so he needs to make noise now before people realized that floyd really doesnt need Pacquiao. I thought they will only abide the Nevada commision, what is he up to now? I guess he doesnt want to miss the biggest payday too.

Maybe IF it gets the fight made but thats a big if. What bothers me about the issue is that according to Roach, he didn't agree intially because he didn't wanna feel like he was caving into mayweather's demands. However it takes 2 to make a fight, I dare 1 manny supporter to tell me one thing that Team pacquiao has compromised to make the fight happen. Everything i heard leading up to the fight was mayweather agreeing to Pacquiao's demands. Name one thing that Pacquiao agreed to to help speed up negotiations.

well, that's pretty interesting being that Pacquiao is a huge draw himself and basically a god in his home country. Pacquiao will never be a desperate man begging for money (not any time soon anyways).

The difference here is pac can continue to fight pretty much anyone, make very good money and be the god-like figure he is back home, whether he's a politician or just a celebrity.

Hence the problem we've always had - two fighters who are the two biggest names in boxing with two different demands, neither really budging to far from the original stance and neither, from what I can gather will give into the other side.

Thus a negotiation like this is imo the only solution. Gotta meet in the middle.

Pacquaio can continue to duck Mayweather Jr., but Roach will not be satisfied and neither will his fans.

Roach, deep down, knows he's been feeding Pacquiao leftovers and his fighter is not proven in his own mind. A fight with Mayweather will satisfy the question he ask himself every night, "Am I really a great trainer, or just a great match-maker?" Roach wants this fight more than Pacquiao, I believe.

Pacquaio refused to meet down the middle the first time, but I do see him bending and agreeing in the second round of negotiations through the encouragement from Roach. Proof of this, is Team Pacquiao eating their words and entertaining the idea of OSDT again.

Yea but Floyd conceded to a 14 day cutoff date, meaning it wouldnt be OST. So he would accept it not being random

actually the money will be talked about 1st, so if he wins, does over 2mil buys or breaks the record for ppv, then he deserve's the lion share. But mayweather agreed to the 50-50 split, if he beats mosley and his numbers do twice as much as Pacquiao vs Clottey he deserves more.
