        it's razor close.

leonard knocked out a 38-0 wilfred benitez in his prime

leonard knocked out a 72-1 roberto duran in his prime

leonard knocked out a 32-0 thomas hearns in his prime

oh and in between these fights he moved up to 154 and knocked out the champion ayub kalule as a tune up no biggie

mayweather decisioned 34-3 zab judah coming off a loss

mayweather decisioned 35 year old 43-9-6 journeyman carlos baldomir

mayweather decisioned 38 year old shane mosley(probably)

not much to choose from between these 2 all time greats. some might say leonard is better and some might say mayweather. there's no wrong answer and that's what makes debating boxing so fun and great.

one day you are going to have to give the man some credit wether you like it or not. If he beats Shane you should start but you wont. If he beats Shane & Pac then you have no choice or you will just look bad

              Why?

The difference in the older guys eras is they fought against every style..thats why guys like leonard were so versatile. He could brawl, box, it didn't matter.

Floyd, like them, has gone up against many different styles in his career, whereas Manny has only been against guys who like to scrap just as much as he does.

Just like Erik Morales, and JMM were lost when they saw a more laid back style for once, I expect pacman (to put on a more valiant effort) to be lost as well. It's just a mental thing.. seeing things you previously hadn't ever seen before.

IMo more credit goes to pac for winning against floyd than floyd for winning these two bouts. I feel like they are easy for him.

                  How doesn't it?

You are saying Floyd will get credit for Shane/pacman but these fights are practically tailer made for him, real enthusiasts will not give him full credit for these wins.

Pacman has NEVER faced a boxer, especially one that resembles the defensive finnese of a Mayweather, so i expect this to be an easy fight for floyd.

Just as JMM was lost when he was in the ring with floyd, and Morales was lost when he was in the ring with Zahir.

mayweather on the other hand has come across MANY styles in his career other than just people who want to trade and fight (like pacman has), and has overcome them all. he is better suited for this affair, he's seen lesser versions of pacman before whereas pacman has never faced anyone remotely close toa mayweather.

Pac Man is the #1 rated fighter in the sport, period. He's been killing everyone. He's also a Southpaw which is a huge advanatage in boxing. Shane Mosley is a HOF thats been fighting the best his whole career and fighting guys way bigger than Floyd. If these 2 are tailor made for Floyd and Floyd cant get credit for beating them then what is the point of him even fighting them or boxing anymore, period?
