I'm not totally convinced Wlad would dominate Tyson and Frazier, especially the Wlad of a few years ago. However, the likely hood is that K-bros would be dominant in any era... especially with Wlad's current form.

There ARE some decent fighters in the division, but the only two real bona-fide, top-notch, GREAT heavyweights are the Klitschkos. That being said, the division in better than the 1980s.

Chambers, Boytsov, Chagaev and Adamek are all very good boxers, the problem is they are CRUISERWEIGHT size, not true modern HWs.

The only highly athletic big men are the Klitschkos. Other big guys like Michael Grant, Tye Fields, Julius Long, Tyson Fury, Alexander Ustinov, Nicolay Valuev, Marcellus Brown, Ray Austin, etc are not even close to the Klitschkos' talent and athleticism.

The Klitschkos would be champions in ANY era.

Joe Louis struggled against a little middleweight Billy Conn in their first fight (Conn was ahead on two cards after 12 rounds) - he would be beaten down by Wladimir or Vitali. They would dominate smaller HWs like Dempsey, Frazier, Tyson, and Marciano.
Why you getting mad at me for?

You're the one who made a dumbass post.

How can you say that the Klitschko's are "great" and then turn around and say that the division sucks?

How can you know how great they are if they got nobody to test them?

You're basically admitting that they are big fish in a small pond.

        And for the record.

I don't know if you watched Adamek last week, but that guy is no blown up lhw.

That guy is a full fledged hw now. The only reason he lost to Dawson was because of the weight.

Adamek has a 50/50 chance against either Klitschko.

Agreed,it would not suprise me at all if Adamek was used steroids to bulk up. He was always drained at LHW but he is absolutely solid at ~220 lbs now.... and when you consider he was making 175 pretty much exactly 3 years ago.

I really like Adamek and am not saying he used anything. I'm sure he is a phenomenal worker and he is one of my top 3 favourite fighters. Just saying that it wouldn't suprise me.

(Edit: I'm not sure he has a 50/50 chance....)

I'll give David Haye a good chance at beating BOTH Klitschkos.

Nah he has little chance of beating either.

No, I'm saying they are athletic, talented big men who would be champions in any era. They dominate their opposition.

There are some good small HWs like there always has been in the past: Adamek, Chambers, Boytsov, Chagaev, etc.

But men who are both BIG and VERY ATHLETIC are rare. Only Lennox Lewis and the Klitschkos fit that category.

Of course, there's always lots of big stiffs like Tye Fields, Marcellus Brown, Michael Grant and Jess Willard.

The Klitschkos are very special fighters. When they are gone, the HW division will be weaker.

Klitschkos only seem great because they fight fat out of shape Heavyweights or blown up Cruiserweights. Wlads trainer said this is the weakest HW division he has ever seen and i agree with him.
