Also, there's a question mark over how meaningful the win over Marg really was. Marg can't possibly have been focussed in that fight, because he'd just been caught trying to cheat, and there's no way of knowing whether Mosley would have looked as impressive against a fully focussed Margarito.

Plus styles make fights, and it's possible that Marg's style just happened to suit Mosley, like Ali's style just happened to suit Norton. Pac has had two impressive wins in a row at Welterweight, so styles making fights is less likely to be a factor in his case.

Well My Point is that Mosley have only 1 win at WW in 3 years, while Manny beat #2 and #4 WW in a 4 month span!!

I know. I'm just saying that in addition to that, I believe there's a huge question mark about whether Mosley's win over Margarito was really as meaningful as most people are claiming.

Why no mention of Jr. Welterweight, Cliff?

Cotto was still rated top 5 after he lost to Pac, and Clottey was still rated top 5 after he lost to Cotto. If Arreola isn't even considered top 10 following his loss, that implies he was over-rated before the fight, and beating him wasn't that significant - especially as Arreola fought almost one-handed for more than half of the fight.

its weird to see mosley at #1 and Mayweather at #3 while Mosley is deemed the underdog in their fight. Same with Martinez being the recognized champ by virtue of his win over Paklik when Martinez was previously beaten by Pwill, whois presently ranked lower.

Given all that, I don't see how a win over Arreola is enough to propel Adamek into your top 5 Heavyweight contenders.
No one else below him has even that sort of win in recent memory. I don't think the injury mattered. arreola didn't have the gas or accuracy to make it be anything more than competitive-looking.

Adamek was hurt a few times in the early part of the fight, so I still feel there's a valid question mark over what would have happened if Arreola had had full use of his right hand in the second half of the fight - although you're entitled to your opinion, of course.

But did you see my other post asking why you hadn't included the Jr. Welterweight division in your article?

Would Dawson-Pascal be for the lineal LHW title?

                      I think it should be.
